Ok, so where are we at with this GB?, it's been a while and I haven't heard anything...

We've been holding out for an update - but things ARE progressing! We're currently doing the "two steps forward, one step back" shuffle. But everything is moving in the right direction, albeit not without it's challenges.

So let's get everyone up-to-date on what we've been doing for the past month.

1) The Group Buy itself met our goals! The interest list wasn't *exactly* representative of the orders - but ZERO disappointments there. THANK YOU to everyone.

2) We moved the tank into production, had the molds made and produced our first samples. The HDPE tank was loaded with black from a previous run - so that's what the samples were produced with. BUT actual production will be clear / opaque like OEM. Check them out:

3) The samples exposed a couple areas that needed refinement. The sump itself had a couple areas that weren't filling properly and left a few thin spots. It may seem trivial, but this isn't going to fly for production:



4) We slightly redesign that area for a smoother more consistent finish which should address that issue:



5) We have more samples gearing up for production and will update when we receive word on those.

6)Almost forgot! We have the caps and rubber accessories complete too! We're going for a very OEM vibe here. Instead of sourcing off-the-shelf parts from McMaster and hoping they'd work, we had the OEM stuff made using new molds.



7) Heath and SBG have been busy with getting a proper mount completed for the pumps. They spec'd out an awesome location and the bracket is starting to look really trick.





Sooooo... "when will we have them?!" is what you're probably asking now. The tentative answer is; we're about a month behind. So our October/November ETA is now looking like a November/December ETA. I know that might feel like a disappointment, it sure does to us, but we're committed to having this done right.

Bottom line is: making parts is tough! But the hard work from everyone involved should result in some pretty cool products.
