Hey you guys, sorry for the long hiatus from the forum. I can't begin to describe how busy and understaffed we are here. We've finished and shipped the first two batches of headlights and are working to finish the last batch now. We've got a couple weeks left on them and will immediately be shipping. In total we had well over 50 orders come in within the course of ONE MONTH, and I can't begin to tell you guys how backlogged this has made us. With each set taking roughly 8-9 hours, if we do nothing else, that's 50 solid 8 hr days of work without fulfilling other orders, answering emails, or running the business.

We love the headlights and know everyone here does too, but we simply can't make them as fast as people want them and turn them around in a reasonable amount of time without disappointing you guys.

Anyway, long story short anyone left outstanding will have their headlights ship in two weeks! Home stretch for anyone still waiting, thank god. We very much appreciate everyone's patience here! We'll post some pics this weekend.

Anyone with questions or inquiries please email us info@sakebombgarage.com
-Heath

I got my long-awaited package in the mail yesterday. Opened it up just enough to see the beauties poking through the packaging.... if they work half as good as they look, I'm going to be very satisfied. Goin' on the FD this weekend.

I installed the headlights today [mostly]. I still need to dress the cables better and tie down the ballast boxes (beyond just using 3M tape) and do the positioning procedure. I had to tear out the plastic wire clips that held the stock cable in place.. I'd like to find new ones so I can route the new cables similarly.

[Based on other surprises i have found since buying my FD] I was hardly surprised when I opened up the driver's side headlight and found it was being held in position with electrical tape and the H4 connector was busted... :|

I am missing two of the little black snap-on connectors that hold the headlight housing in place. Anyone know where I can get these or what the part number is perchance? I also need a couple of the metal clips that the screws that hold the black bezels go into. Oh, and new bolts, because the last guy put in a hodge podge of different hardware in there that half-work and are half-rusted. :/

One question for Sakebomb (or others)--I've plugged in the H4 connector from the driver's side into the Sakebomb harness. The passenger one just stays disconnected, is that right?

So far have been very happy with the quality of all the parts.. can't wait until it gets dark so I can experience my new night vision.

Hi everyone,

From our last completed Batch:

We wanted to provide another update on the HID kits. We're expecting the final batch to be finished in the next 1-2 weeks. We want to thank all of customers both for their business, and their patience. We never expected this HID kit run to grow so large, and its been a colossal challenge to produce all these kits, while keeping our day to day business running.

It's our pleasure to provide the FD community with premium lighting options, and we'd like to thank all of you again for supporting our efforts to bring great products to the RX-7.

All remaining orders have SHIPPED

We've got a few leftovers and discounted units with minor cosmetic blemishes left that didn't quite make the grade, email us if you're looking for a set info@sakebombgarage.com

The best insurance policy you can buy for night driving. These lights beat Farmers, Century, and that chick at Progressive, because these actually prevent you from hitting crap instead of paying you out for a few grand because they think you own a 'Mazda' (even though you put Ferrari money into it)

My favorite lights so far!

I don't have the best camera, but here's a half hour clip from my dash cam of me driving to autocross this weekend:

Thanks! Email sent. Yes it is a 95 Chaste White! Hopefully I'll shoot some more pics/vids after a visit to the detailer this month before car goes to storage.

Amazing how implementing newer technology into these old cars really breathes new life into them. This is definitely on the list of things to buy.
