In reverse SakeBomb fashion, we're actually ahead of schedule for once. There was a miscommunication with Sweden, the SBG production run of FD kits is actually finished and on its way from Sweden right now. They should arrive in the next week and a half or so, it may take a few days to clear Customs but we should be able to ship immediately after they're in. :
There are four kits left that are unspoken for, which are going into inventory if they don't sell during this group buy. If anyone is interested please contact us ASAP as this is the last of the FD kits coming in to the US for the next few months.
FD kit #1 - open
FD kit #2 - open
FD kit #3 - open
FD kit #4 - open
If you would like one of these last kits, please go to: GROUP BUY DEPOSIT Ohlins Coilovers (Full Payment Due Date 5/31/15) - SakeBomb Garage LLC

Well, our weekend was absolutely packed thanks to a track day. Sorry we couldn't get back to anyone on time. If you're still committed to joining the group buy, I'll be able to extend the pricing for you. We've only got two unclaimed FD kits left, so act fast if you want to snag one

This GB is now CLOSED.
I'm sending PM's to everyone that requested... there are TWO kits left worldwide until October/Nov with the next production run. These are first come first serve.
Thanks to everyone that participated in the GB! You should have your suspension in a few days to a week depending on your location, they literally arrived this morning woot! Sending everyone tracking numbers now.

I received mine saturday and installed them saturday. Just a reminder to those. the top mounts that say left and right are for the rear (It also doesn't say which side of the car is left or right). I just aligned the hole where the male plug is on the chassis (can't remember which side is which). No where in the instructions tell you this. Also, The 4mm hex head is actually a 5mm hex head to hold the shaft into position when tightening down the hex nut on the top plate. Furthermore you will need to adjust the adjuster down into the shaft in order to have the 5mm hex head go into the shaft.
Hopefully this helps everyone during their install. I had to play with the height setting on the passenger side of my car in order to get the car level. In order to do this you will need to loosen the pre-load of the spring each time (pain in the butt). my passneger side was 3/4" off, rear passneger side was 1/4" off. drivers side were good from factory.
The car drives smooth, it took the harsh initial shock out of bumps. The springs are still stiff (I had 8/6KG before). I will leave the stock springs in there and continue to drive it. Damping is set to the stock recommended 10 clicks from stiff front and rear. I don't notice much of a difference between my old ARK coilovers at lower speeds. at higher speeds the ohlins perform better with respect to absorbing bumps, high speeds and 100MPH+ speeds. I think this is where the shocks shine. I still don't have a ton of seat time with them, but just my initial impressions. The couple of corners I did rail on weren't all that much different from my old set up except for the fact that the cars dynamics are slightly changed with the equal spring rates. I don't feel the car pitching as much to the rear squatting with the softer springs I had before. Will update with more driving in a few weeks (going on vacation).

We'll be sure to post about it if it happens, most likely on RX8club.
Thanks for the good info! As far as I remember, they also don't mention how to remove the adjuster **** on the top, and a few other important details As soon as we have a free moment we'll be doing a full SakeBomb Garage Pictorial Installation Guide, hopefully that'll help a bit. There's a lot of important details left out, not to mention all of the FD specific torque specs, and how to remove the body panels.

Please email us at info@SakeBombGarage.com. We've legitimately got one kit left and it's the last in the states until November. Don't quote me on this but I believe there are no international kits left either, we absorbed 100% of this last production run ... Ohlins simply can not make them fast enough. As they've expanded chassis they have run into reduced throughput for production... We've been battling this for the last year and a half, but so far the supply issue has not gotten much better.

We actually sold our last kit this past week - We're going to try our best to snag all of the kits from the next production run as well. We've already put our order in for the next production run, but at this point from what Ohlins is telling us, the timeline is at least a few months out, if not more. We're doing our best to try to light a fire under them, but I'd be skeptical of them finishing any sooner.
