Ohlins DFV - Group Purchase May 2015

Back by popular demand - a new Ohlins group buy

We'll need 15 people on board to make this happen. Unfortunately if we don't meet that minimum we won't be able to go forward with the group buy.

May 31st will be the end of the group buy, and payments will not be accepted after this date.

Stock We've got a couple kits in transit but are gearing up for a big restock and can save some cost consolidating everything into one large order. The restock order will have a lead time of 6-8 weeks for production and sea shipping to the US. Kits will ship to customers immediately upon arrival.

All sets that are pre-paid during this group buy will be guaranteed GB pricing regardless of ship date.

Here's how the GB will work:

We have set up a product page to purchase a non-refundable GB spot for $100. This is your deposit. Each person will then receive a unique coupon code via email to be used at SakeBombGarage.com for group buy pricing.

As this is a group buy we need ALL ORDERS FINALIZED FOR SUBMISSION AT THE SAME TIME to submit the order. This means EVERYONE purchasing a kit will need to be paid IN FULL before May 31st so the order can be processed.

To place your deposit, please visit: www.SakeBombGarage.com/group

[/SIZE]

As a side note, we are able to offer suspension for other chassis as part of this deal as well. If you have friends interested please let them know. These cars include:
RX8
NA/NB Miata
NC Miata
S2K
Mini
Evo

Thanks for your interest,
SBG

I am interested in jumping in. Just waiting for Mazda to send me my bonus. But want to confirm that the pricing is the same as the previous group buy? So basically 300 off the website pricing? Or has it changed for this one?

Yeah haha. I work for Mazda selling cars and they pay us on a pre-paid card every quarter. They are about a month late right now on getting the dispersment out but they are switching up the card company. But it worked out good. I would have spent it on something else and once again missed out on these haha.

That's pretty cool! Definitely worked out well for the Ohlins, haha

And I just realized that the image at the top says April 2014, sorry folks! Should have updated that. The deadline, just to confirm, is May 31st of 2015.

Mty Mous - right back at ya

Hazel324 - I feel like with the 10+ shop cars we damn well should have earned one can you get us a smoking deal on an ND? holler at us!

Everyone else - if you're interested (moderately to for sure) throw your names on the list, we're trying to gauge how many we'll get to... hopefully we'll be able to make this happen.

Hey guys. I know that you guys are Swift dealers now. I was wondering what options you guys had for adding those swift springs for the Ohlins? What spring rates are available and what you guys feel is an optimum setup for keeping the factory valving? I would also be open to staying with the 11kg f/r for a better overall spring.

It's personal preference, really. Most customers start with the stock Ohlins springs and then upgrade if they feel it's necessary. However, it's unusual that we get a request to upgrade springs after someone's actually tried them out. Most people stick with the stock spring rates.

Swift sells upgraded springs in roughly 1kg increments and you can go +/- 30% of the stock spring rate without revalving as a general rule of thumb. If you're going to upgrade springs, set aside around $500 to do that. If you want to revalve I can have them revalved to your spec by Ohlins USA and that's roughly $500 as well.

Hello,

What is the Group Buy price as I don't see it listed anywhere in the original post or in this thread?

I also assume that this Group Buy is only for US customers and will not cover shipping to other countries? Could shipping be arranged separately?

Thanks.
