VIDEO:My lap of the Nurburgring in my RX7
By no means my fastest (was very conscious of crashing on camera so i went even slower than i normally would!)
I make it under 10 minutes which i don't think is too bad for my 4th lap Plenty of places i could have gone quicker; i was more filming just to remember the track rather than go for a fast one.

Its about 9:15 the lap - not too bad i don't think
No engine mods to my car no - at least none that make it go faster! spec is:
RB dual tip CB exhaust
relocated turbo control solenoids
Shyauto alloy race radiator
Black Diamond Predator fast track pads
rays alloys
K-sport coilover suspension
Thats the lot!
Next trip i should be sporting a big intercooler, PFC, downpipe and decat and about 290 rwhp

Those are defi gauges, the black faced ones that light up when you switch the car on. However my sensor pedestal sprang a leak so i had to remove it which rendered 2 of my 3 gauges useless.
Yes, i bottomed out quite a few times actually. Car needs raising a bit...its very low at the moment.

Great download speed! You are sequential, with p/s? What size tires? Did ANYONE pass you
Caution: Vid not for the easily nauseous. Try a cam mount next time.
FritzFlynn, you've got to watch this!
I've only run fun laps on two occasions at Sebring, but it was no passing. Once I got stuck behind an NSX and the second time a 911.

Bob, how much did it cost to get some time in at Nurburgring? And how early do you have to sign up, how do you sign up, etc? It's definitely on my plan of things to do w/ my FD (seriously)

Ramy - you literally just turn up, put some money in a machine, get a ticket, put the ticket in another machine, a barrier raises and off you go. Its about $15 a lap i think (16 euros)
Past that, its just fuel to pay.#
No sign up times, no booking - just turn up on an open day. Check the nurburgring home page and it tells you when the track is open. You only really want to go between april and september. Any other time there is a chance of rain and between the end of oct and beginning of feb the whole place is covered in snow.
