It's a skyline. Who cares if it's an R32/R33/R34?
It's a well respected nice looking car... and it lost to an FC!
...Just proves that Skyline drivers don't deserve the god-complex mentality that they seem to ALL have.

And that's not really the sexiest sound... unless you're one of those guys that swings towards lawn care.
Yes, I love my rotary... but it sounds like crap unless it has a nice exhaust.

I am a long standing Nissan Fan and owner. I am only just recently been grafted in to the Rotary world. My theory on this race is the person behind the wheel of that skyline was either 1. Sandbagging, or 2. Does not know how to drive, it almost looked like he missed a gear or something. . On a nother note that was an amazing run for the 7

they put more than 280 stock that is a lie.... supra is supposed to have 280 stock but people dyno them at around 300 stock all the time
that whole jap manufacturers thing about not making cars over 280 is a farse they might have done it years ago but now they dont do it they just list them at 280 in their technical specs for sales

Skylines are heavy. In fact, they are about 600 pounds more than an FC stock by comparison. Skyline require the HP to get that fat *** moving.
Theres no doubt about Skyline capability. I think the engine is simply spectacular. My only 2 arguements are that the Skyline (specifically R33) is the ugliest car I've ever seen. I feeling punching myself repeatedly when I see someone driving one. Oh that, and they weigh like 3400 pounds. Hence why I favour S13's. JDM not NA. 2400 pounds of Nissan lovin'.

From: We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Skyline of that year if it was a GTR(which it is not) puts out around 350 HP the 278HP thing is just some wierd law or something they have in japan that says no car can be advertised with more than 278HP. This car is a GTs-t M spec skyline, which has the same body as a GTR but not the same motor(RB25DET vs RB26DETT) the RB25 puts out at most 245hp.

that is /so/ an R33 GTR.
RWD cars can launch too, don't believe me, watch the video! Or go to your local dragstrip and watch as 9 out of the fastest 10 cars there are RWD, the other one being a freak dsm.
