i said aussie's because thats where that race took place and both of them slammed to the rear on take off...in japan they are more about stiffer suspension...now in the u.s. it all depends we are talking about 10 diffrent types of racing here so mean to tell me a dragster will have soft springs or a 7 second car will have soft springs, what about a 7 sec porsche does he need soft springs too
sorry you need to get your facts straight it all depends on your car, weight ,set up

any drag racer serious about drag racing(with a RWD car) will have softer rear suspension...
I've seen extremely fast street cars on the drag strip with circuit racing suspension, they go fast no doubt, but they would probably get a better launch from a softer rear.
And that IS a gtr, either that or a really good clone.
Oh yea...sorry to burst your bubble...

its a GTS-t i know i have this engine in my 240sx, if it would have been a GTR you would have heard the twins spool like crazy .... or if its a GTR then its basiccaly stock and running at the stock 7psi !! cause mine at 16 psi you can heard the spool from almost 1 km !!
and the wing doesnt mean nothing you can buy em at any shop, and if it would have been a GTR you'd have the golden GT logo on the side !!
and that FC driver knows how to launch , and he seems like hes running high psi from the sound id say near 15 psi !!!
id like to see a race like that on the highways !!!! or at a 1 mile dragstrip !!
