Also, I noticed that the AST is an eyesore. I am going to remove it and repolish it, may even delete it altogether.

BTW, I was looking into this type of SMIC as well...the ASP large or PR Coolcharge III (same I think?). Read that the air pump, batter (or slim PC680) AST would have to be moved on my FD if I chose this route. My air pump is already disactivated..just have to remove it from the bay. Anyhow, I was either looking into this or looking into the VMount as well which looks very tasty. I have a stock radiator now so it almost evens out (extra $200 or so) buying a VMount which includes the a modified Koyo radiator verus the ASP large and Koyo/Fluidyne. Only downfall is the story with Rotary Extreme closing down...so hopefully by time I shop for VMount...they're still opened. Otherwise, buy used. What are your comments about this IC?

Hey Mr. thats a clean car. Def an inspiration to what I want mine to look like in the future. Would you consider going single in place of the BNR turbo setup? Its about time for a rebulid on mine, and the bnrs a def being considerd.

I tried to be as realistic as i could with the application. Without lying and trying to give as much info as they want to hear. I put the miles i use for pleasure, work etc etc. Then i told them i will "probably" go and race it at the track. I guess they didnt like that part. But i couldnt lie. I couldnt just say no i will never race the car, then later on run the car and god forbid something happens, i dont know what the outcome would be.
Mind you i am getting this all through the phone. They then told me i should fax or email some recent pics of my car, basically all the sides that rich posted above. Engine bay, quarter shot, rear, side, etc. Then they told me i need to take a shot of the garage it will be enclosed in. I said i didnt have an enclosed garage, i have a huge *** driveway (about 60-80 feet in length) They said they wouldnt cover a car if it doesnt have a garage. I told them i have several security devices i use that i put when the car isnt in use. They said they need that garage.
BTW, good looking car Rich!
So now im not sure if that particular rep was jerking my chain or these really are the rules people must comply with.
So now i dont know what to do. Should i wait a while and alter my application? They will def remember my information and think im lying and still reject me. This ******* sucks. But even though, their annual premium is not THAT much lower than what im paying for now. But every penny counts, especially since i hardly drive the car. I only put 2600 miles on it since 03/04. lol

I tried to get collectors insurance as well. They told me my DD was too old (95% restored vert) and my my 1995 FD had too many miles 52k. Right after I inquired and was denied, my friend had his 93 FD stolen...found striped (Rick Engman built motor), I can't wait to hear how the insurance company takes care of him
BLAST.
BTW good looking car Rich!

I tried Hagerty on my 1st gen. Went through all the steps took the pictures and then they noticed the rollbar. They said they won't insure it because I probably race it. I told them it's just for show but they didn't believe me. I'll try again but say it has stock engine.
