Of course the guy is going to blame the shop that sold him the lug nuts. If he put the wheels on the car himself, it's his fault for making sure they were tight and fit properly. The only loose nut I saw in that vid, was the one behind the steering wheel. Hate to see that happen, but I did get a good laugh out of it.

Wrong pitch nut will thread on a little bit. Then hit it with an impact and you can guess what can happen. However, whoever put the wheels on should have noticed unless they were very inexperienced.

I almost lost my right front custom wheel on my truck from a shop that put on lug nuts that were too short.

I hate to see this happen to any RX-7 owner. He's damn lucky he wasn't on the Interstate doing 170.
