3rd gear, but I do have to brake boost for it to hit full boost at 50 mph (4000 rpm).

Yea, I have heard that however the camera man is doing a steady 70 mph. In one of the clips you can see some traffic in the side mirror that does not get any closer when I take off.

Applying throttle and brake at the same time to pre-spool the turbo.
