Just some pics from Japan

Well i went to a local rx7 shop today and thought i would post up some pics of the cars. I was there trying to get my damn seat belt noise fixed. Never mind, i enjoyed seeing the other cars, and the owner invited me to drive with them to central circuit next year. Some of you may recognize the cars from the rx7 magazine. My car is the Mazdaspeed one.

What part of Japan are you in?

On my last business trip, I spent about a week and a half between Tokyo and Osaka and did not see one single RX-7 on the road (although I did see one stock one parked next to someone's house and a few nice Supras.)

However, when I was in Tokushima, I saw a few nice ones at a used car dealership and a freaking sweet one driving around.

All in all, I have been pretty dissapointed with the number of RX-7s I have gotten a chance to see. I will probably have a few free hours in Tokyo again on Saturday. Any recommendation of where I can see a few sweet ones?

Im in Okayama, sports cars from the 90s like supras, silvias, rx7s, etc. are dying breeds, they are expensive to insure, high tax, high shaken and terrible fuel economy where fuel is $2 a litre. Okayama is kind of country side, so there are alot more rx7s, the big cities have a whole different car scene, sports cars are more European.

Tokushima is great, i could live there, its so nice, with the mountains and rivers. Driving around makes you feel like you are starring in initial D. I went white water rafting there. Okayama is not far from Shikoku.

I dont have a clue where you could see cars in Tokyo, ive never seen an FD in Tokyo either. Alot of other cool cars though. Two weeks ago they had the time trials near Tokyo where every major rx7 made an appearance. Check the Asia threads.

yeah apparently was a huge job and the engine has a large output too. The interior is the only stock looking thing about it. Although it has Mazdaspeed racing seats.
