Japmeet, Sweden
Some images from Japmeet in Sweden.
20 Rx7's and 3 Rx8's
In all around 400 cars showed up.
Apart from tracktime, there were dyno and dragracing.
Nice weather and it's always nice to meet rotary friends!
All 100 images are at my site.

It was, quite a lot of new faces.
The FD now comes in in quite large numbers (for beeing an rx7) from japan and the UK.
I'd say that more than half of the FD's were right hand drive.
The two 8's raced alot! Both running nice tires and some goddies.
I think the did 5 or 6 20-25 minute runs!
Lennart (who has the blue one) has an almost ready trackday 8 as well.
Sorry it's in swedish only.. lots of pics...

It nice to here that more FD's are making it out to trackdays. I noticed quit a few jap models from your photo's. I thought Martin had parted out and sold his FD.... anyway, glad to see him on the track.
Magnus, did you see the crashed silver 300Z? where on the track did it happen? looked pretty bad.

and here is another pic of my car at Japmeet,
http://www.garaget.org/show_ext.php?...6&image=242231
and the silver 300zx had to much throttle out of the corner, (32,33) and crashed into the Pit-barrier (on the other side of the track of the 34 number). It was the owners friend who drove the car, as most of the crashes on trackdays

Magnus and Exlex,
Thank you both for the great video's and info on the 300z, shame it hit so hard. Seems the line of cars is still long for Japmeet, but if your lucky (like the white fc) and stay out long enough, you get some nice clear laps. I hope to visit you guys again in the near future...
Regards
Oliver
