This **** is so funny.
I know of a couple of guys in my area still running the Honda motor that are making more power than what they are with the 2jz that would run circles around that car. At least they know how to keep the I/C hoses intact.

Honestly, how many singled 20B's out there do you see or even heard about? There is a reason why its not many. And i hope you know why because its clear.

The 2JZ can be made fast easy and relatively cheap as oppose to your route. Not to mention parts are easy to find, pretty much bolt on and self explanatory when dealing with this engine.

On the 20B, basically everything is custom made and fabricated because it came from a car that wasnt produced in the states.
I have no doubt that it's money but I am a rotorhead A. B. I love the redline & Rarity factor. The 2JZ is just another production engine like the redtops... how many do you see at shows? Honestly most guys by middle want a vette or something I'd rather go 20B IMO.

I agree, which is why i made the A. B. statements because what you said is basically what i said.

They go 20B to be different or because they are truely a rotary fan.

until I see a 2JZ running and working in an rx7 without a giant ugly hood, I'm going to say it's impossible.

Welcome to the impossible.

Here are some guys i deal with sometimes.

www.acostamotorsports.com

Famous for the first ever 900 hp 20B rx8.

And look at the car next to the "customer cars". Yep, FD with a 2JZ that uses the stock hood. I know because i saw it in person.

Thanks.

It's been done many times with 1J's, 2J's, RB25/26 etc. Seen it in person.
