I was watching Pipes of ESPN 2 and at the end they said that next time they were going to have a FD with a 350 on there next show.

 

What show is that? What time does it come on?

 

Just another "fix'em up" car show. Saturday April 21st at 10:30AM on ESPN2 is the next showing. Don't know if it's the RX7 show but it's the next airing of PIPES.

I only caught the tail end of the final race, but somehow the FD lost to the Civic hatch.... And it sounded like maybe the FD owner was killed in a motorsports accident after the show was recorded... Maybe it wasn't him but the pic looked like the glance I got at him.

 

the rx7 had a ls2 in it and the civic got a 4sec head start

 

It's not a RX 7 if it has a 350. A Rx 7 only comes with a two rotors eng.

I will say the same thing I always say when someone starts bickering about rotary v.s. V8:
1.) V8 guys are just mad because they don't understand the rotary and aren't willing to learn, and anybody's cousin can work on an SBC
2.) Rotary guys are just mad because more often than not the V8 guys kick their asses.

The RX in the name RX 7 means Rotary,mabe thats why you dont get the joke.

 

Ive actualy never seen any documents from Mazda that said the RX stood for anything. If any of you have please post the press release, paper etc.

Rotary eXperimental or something like that
