Damn poor Dog was just doing its job it didnt deserve to die. who cares about the damn guy, the dog has no choice it was just doing its job the right way and f***ing cops shoot there own. Amazing what tolerance people can put up with, and the proof is some of the posts here. The guy desrved to die but the dog didnt.

This Forum never ceases to amaze me. There are a lot of dumb asses on here.
Are you watching his lips as he talking its obviously been delayed but besides that he did not even move his had with the gun until he was already being shot at and his motions where to THROW IT ON THE GROUND .
The dog looked like it was released after they started to shoot.
That was one big **** Up and some ones needs to be responsible for what happened. I would hate to live in that County knowing that the Cops are ******* trigger happy.
And what are the cops supposed to do after they shoot, are they not supposed to check on him and/or try and detain him. Not just sit there and bitch.
He was Executed end of story.
And about the dog, **** it its dead cause they shot it. Who can you blame those are the risk you take when you shoot something... right?

...Police officers are required to practice their shot right? It only looks like 2 of about 15 shots hit the guy...another one or two went into the dog...just sad. It would be great to see how that would have ended in a hostage situation.

Watch the clip by crazyrx7... its long but it provides a much better picture or the whole thing.
at 4:40 he tell the watch commander "i told your other officer that i am wanted for murder, and i have been on the run for two years, and if i go to jail im going to life, id rather die right here" a little later.... " and i swear to god imma try to kill ona of yall". and one last thing the commanding officer is calling him "tiny" so he is obviously known to LASD as a gang member... a little later @ 7:50 he starts saying " i got eyes cuz, i aint dumb". cuz is term all crips says to identify themselves as crips.

i watched the whole thing and the only questionable thing that happened was the release of the dog. you can clearly see that a weapon was thrown away (looked like a revolver) which means he was armed and even if it was not a weapon, he still stated that he had a weapon and refused to show his right hand. that will leed to the police having to assume that he is in fact armed.

That was still the ******* worst negotiation ever. Who gave the camand to shoot? and why the hell where 81 shots fired. Just as in self defense that would be called a ****** excessive amount of gun fire.
Dumbass Cops, yes they where in a tough situation but that does not excuse what took place. Welcome to the Wild-Wild-West. There judgment sucks.

the reason they all fired is when there are 20 cops around someone with a gun and the guy jumps up points something at your fellow officer and you hear a shot....you automatically start firing.....its just a reaciton that they are trained to do.. Edit: and i highly doubt that there were 81 shot fired....
the website also said that they air lifted the dog to the hospital..........BS
and i highly doubt that they left him sitting on that porch until morning like the webiste also stated.......

I rarely respond to threads such as this, but since it hits close to home here goes.
**** all of you arm-chair quartebacks who sit at your computer and preach about how the Police are wrong for what they did.
If any of you have been in a situation like this then you would know that to be there is one thing, but to be in the comfort of your own home watching a video of it is another. Comment all you want, but the truth is, NONE of you were there, and none of you had to make that hard decision that night!!!
I harbor no ill will towards those officers present that night. As a matter of fact, I applaud any man or woman who makes it there job to protect and serve the rest of us.
You **** sticks may ask what it is I know about anything, so let me tell you. I am a K9 handler and I have had to make decisions on whether or not to release my dog on "suspects", and to give you some insight as to where I am now. It's called Iraq, and split second decisions to shoot or not come about every day.
Tonight I will pray for that K9 handler and his poor dog.
Pardon my language.

when i see websites like that it makes me want to hack in and delete the whole thing..
one of my good friends is also a k9 officer and i have a dog that i have trained very well. he is a german sheppard/shearpea/chow mix.....(he is a beast.)
be safe over there in Iraq and who knows one day i might see you over there.

One has to be impressed with the fact that one stupid drug dealer with a revolver could scare so many highly trained, tough, hardened, and well equiped police officers (that claim to be professionals, none the less) like a group of school girls.

poor dog. Mans best friend, in Vietnam a special team or soldiers were trained useing dogs as guides and "sniffers" for when they went into vietcon tunnels. Dogs are loyal, loving, and caring. criminals are non of the above. they'd sell there own family to save there own worthless skin. my feelings are for the dog.
