I dont know or care about what you guys may say but I do this on my commute to oakland all the time. I have no radio so it keeps me busy plus I like to get there fast. I dont care if it seems dumb but it is enjoyable and I've been pushing FCs to the limit enough now to know when I can and can't do something. Dont hate and no need to love it either, but who cares I love driving.

Those werent just dumb kids, they were just good drivers doing dumb things. I see that crap ALL the time over here, mostly with bikes, but there is no shortage of Jap guys, usually in 180's, driving on the street as if they were on the track. And I know a couple of them that would, and do, RAPE me and most everyone else on the track.
Why do you guys think theses are skilled drivers? It doesn't look like they are professional at all just very reckless weavin in and out of traffic.

Looks like they got hella pulled over, even in the end, what abunch of idiots.

I mean we all speed and occasionally maybe make a quick turn in and out, but nothing like this I wouldn't think. Chasing Cops? IDK, just asking for trouble for sure, and it looks like they got it.

Thats called luck tanjo, not skill. They simulated normal driving since they were using public roads except the fact they were going MUCH faster.

In the event of normal driving, you go about your routine, YOU do everything correctly, change lanes correctly, maintain speed etc etc, then an idiot out of the corner comes out of nowhere and hits you. You could be a good driver but some other dumbass hit you, it wasnt your fault.

Same concept here, they shown basic driving skills but with the help of PURE luck didnt get hit by anotehr car on the road. They past many cars in their blind spots and all it takes is one pedestrian car to not seem him come out of nowhere at 100mph+ and hit him and there goes those cars.

If they were on a track racing against other drivers on a course, pushing their cars to the limits and making good times, THATS skill.

Passing random people on the highway wrecklessly, going between cars even though there is no lane there, THATs not skill, thats luck they didnt get their *** hit.

I agree, if you watch it again, its incredibly sketchy, there is a huge amount of luck. That the other drives diddn't turn into them.

to each his own is what i say. if u think about it speeding in general is stupid and dangerouse.

the only question i have is why are hondas "ricer" seems only to be hondas. if u think about it supras/rx7s/subies could be rice to it all depends on the driver or at least thats what i thought.for instance a person that buys a evo mr cause they herd it was fast "ricer".

i like hondas is a s2k rice.
can some one elaborate on this.

what you said about the s2K i dont understand, do mean the its "nice"? if thats what you mean i agree and its not a ricey car. and i think that some moded hondas are not ricers b/c the people that own them put the mods on so that they could go faster at the track which is the place where people should go fast not on some highway where i or one of you guys could get killed. and i have also seen some very "ricey" rx7s and supras and yes i makes me sick but its the owner personal tast in what ugly mods their going to put on their car.

"i like hondas is the s2k rice"

what i meant was

i like hondas (and if ppl consider hondas rice) would that make an s2k rice

rice is to cars like fads are to clothes

its all a state of mind thus the ricey 7 supras and so on...hope that clears up my incoherent rambleings.

The video says that theyve been doing it for a long time, on that highway, so I doubt there have been many, if not any, accidents. That, also, is not just luck.

lol they were driving small *** pos machines.

complete control? Looks like they threw themselves in every spot they think of.

I see alot of risk taking and PURE luck, thats IMO.

If you see it otherwise, then thats on you. Im sure alot of people will agree with me when i say that is def not skill.

the thing that gets me is, the video said they have been doing this for over 20 years. i dont know the driving age in japan, but that would make them at least mid 30's, would it not? this seems a little excessive for adults.

i gotta say i did enjoy the part when they decided to chase the cop just to have him pull him over afterwards

it wasnt that bad , they were going fast but they slowed many times thats just called "aggressive" driving I 've seen and have done that with much larger street cars, but its not the safest thing in the world indeed.

they all had little rice machines which helps with clearance
