you can buy all Best Motoring videos from www.drifting.com ... that's where I get mine from.
you can also visit their official US based website www.bestmotoringvideo.com
there are many many more best motoring videos that unfortunately don't make it over here to the US but if you understand Japanese or don't mind just watching the races, you can pick up the overseas ones on burned VCD through Ebay for dirt cheap.
there's the original Best Motoring and Hot Version (which is a compilation of races with modded tuner cars). Best Motoring and Hot Version are seperate in japan but was compiled together for the US market when it was first introduced, but now they are sold as seperate DVDs here in the US as well.

I have a Best Motorinfg video about the Mines R34 where it's pronounced to be the fastest accelerating R34 ever build for street use. It's unbelievable to see how fast revs climb and the way it shoots out.They even sai the engine was a stock bottom end with bolt ons, no major upgrades there... all the credit to Mines

How the hell do you balance out "NA vs Turbo" anyway.
If theyre capped at the same power the turbo wil have a LOT more torque and a much fatter powerband, I dont even see what the point is o.0
BTW, the 3 rotor FD sounds like a TIE fighter

The Amemiya 7 did really well considering it was at a 2-300hp disadvantage.
Not really, the skylines are weighing in more than 1000lbs heavier than its Naturally Aspirated competitor, so if they were the same cars capped the turbo powered would be at a serious disadvantage. I think the point of the race is they are all running very close to the same times. For instance the S2000's with only 280hp & 320hp are running as fast or if not faster than the Skylines with 500-600hp which is incredible.

yup, i have that dvd, that car revs as fast in 5th than some cars that rev in 2nd!!!!
they're all about engine balancing and engine response, i guess thats why that car performs the way it does..
and its a track car too, wow, simply amazing..
i think im going to watch that clip because its giving me the goosebumps hahaha

I have one of a straight na battle, RE FD vs S2000, CRX, 2 NSXs, 350z and a MRS.....It is a good representation of the FD...later in the vid it shows a touge battle and the top timed spots are taken by a rx8 and a fc...defeating 180sx, rsx, s2000 and some other cars I forget

Cap the power/weight ratio (lbs per hp, or hp per ton or w/e) is what I meant. And well yeah, Id expect a porky skyline to require more power to be able to keep up with something lighter :P But at a comparable hp/weight raio, the turbo is still going to have a bunch more pull coming out of the corners because of more midrange.
