That has to be the dumbest movie ever.

They should just call that movie how to do fly bys and how to zig zag for no reason on the highway.

That wasnt even a real race, but more of who can lose control first on the highway.

 

i agree with the above. Its really faky, i mean the Z32 keeps up on the launch, which is ridiculus.

 

AKA Freeway Speedway. The bits with the real DK are good, but everything else is crap.

Ya that clip wasn't really good, they always add the cheesy 80s music in to one race in the movie. At the end of the movie they had a red FD vs Tsuchiya in an Skyline racing on the track.

They probably are, this was really filmed on the wangan and the traffic is real, no paid stunt doubles driving the other vehicles. The only reason the movie wasn't banned is because at the end of every movie they had Keiichi Tsuchiya talk about how street racing was bad and why you should keep it on the track.

The full movies are pretty cool for being old japanese films about cars.

Their were 5 trials plus a Max movie, each trial is just a different movie with different characters and story.
