2007 Elmhurst Toyota Supra Meet: Photoshoot!!!
Hi,
These pictures were taken by me at the Annual Elmhurst Toyota Supra Meet a few weeks back. Over the years it's turned more into a Scion gathering than anything, but I still LOVE seeing some of the amazing Supra's we have in and around the area. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

P.S. Shameless Plug: My Red FD (Shown in the pictures) is a Built Motor, Single Turbo RX-7 putting down around 450rwhp. It's also for sale and here's the link to the F/S thread : https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=674842. Thanks!

Woa...chill out there dude. I agree everyone needs to relax with the weight comments, but they are true. My brother and one of my closest friends have owned 3 MKIV's between the two and they are heavy and do feel a little sluggish. Fast as hell though, but not the best handlers IMO.
Your comment is just ignorance at its finest! Any car can be faster than any other. I know of plenty rotaries that can outrun a Supra and vice versa. It always comes down to the extent of the modifications and driver skill.

^ I don't understand why most RX-7 guys talk down on the Supra's weight. Especially considering an FD weighs close to 3,000lbs itself. Supra's however, posess a mighty equalizer known as "torque", so all of that weight is carried much easier than an RX-7 of the same weight and horsepower (hypothetically speaking) could. But, to each his own. As I said, I'm probably leaning toward a Supra over an FD because the general consensus is that FD's are crap unless you have a money tree in your backyard.

Noones makes a turbo specifically for one car or motor. All that turbo is, is a Garrett turbo. I believe SP was running a 4780 but that might be a 4788. I don't think they've stepped up to the big dog 5591 yet. Heres a pic of our shop car thats running a 5591 .
This car is actually sold but we have an identical one thats red now.
