Not sure how old that TV spot is, but intersesting how Mazda or their ad agencies still show the FD in their commercials. It says somthing about a car that hasn't been produced in a few years. The agency (Mitsubishi/BBDO) that I work for would never show a car in a TV spot that is no longer being produced.
It says somthing about the design of the FD it's following. Mazda really should get serious about producing another 7.

 

as far as i know they are producing another 7 i could be completely wrong on this cause my memory screws me over sometimes, but i do beileve a 7 is in the works for 2007 or 2008, i am not even 80% sure of this but that i what i remember reading in some article like 4 days ago

i watched that essence video a long time ago and it touched me...i just watched it again and it almost brought a tear to my eye again. gives me the chills every time...

best part is one the little kid opens his hand and there was a tiny FD matchbox car.

 

Agreed. The essence video almost had a tear in my eye. The FD is so forgiving and loving.

Then I watched the SpiritR video that shows the heart of the FD.

All that made me realize that the FD even though kind, gentle and forgiving has a heart of steal and will bow to no one.

Just incredible. I am glad I bought my FD(Lucy) she makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside everytime I drive her.

Thanks for the vids, I'm with everyone else: the rotary video is actually very moving to anyone who has any love for the rotary and how hard its upbringing has been. I also think that the essence video kind of alludes to the maturing of the rotary. I mean, mazda got it basically from birth to where it is today...

Im speechless. I went outside & chilled in my car for a hour just now. higging every inch of my baby. Made shure she was well rested & had a tune up.


The rotary video gives you confidence. THe guy in the video speaking seemed to get into it as well. Every time he says something he sounds louder as if hes sayind rotarys are the ****. nothing else compares

Thank you soooo much for posting those vids. When I watched the essence one, it made me want to leave work early to go home and have doggy-style sex with my FD.

 

yeah i definatly have a little toy fd from when i was like 9. after the essence video i went out and gave my 7 a hug.
