Rtek 1.8 setup
I am rebuilding a 13bt I just bought and swapping it into my gxl. I planned on running a bnr stage 1 turbo but i'm running out of money Will i be running to rich if i have 720 injectors on stock turbo with 3in exhaust. I want to port the engine but i'm kinda scarred of messing it up!

I'm still breaking in my engine but at about 1/2 throttle and 5psi my AFRs are between 10-11 whenever I'm in boost. This is with a large streetport, BNR Stage 1, Rtek7 1.8 ECU, and 4 GReddy 720cc injectors. Can't wait for the 2.1 to come out!

really, you should be worried about running lean instead of runinng rich.
running lean= instant death for your new rebuilt. as said, the 1.7 is designed for 550/720 and the 1.8 is designed for 720/720, and nothing else. if you use those exact sizes, it should work fine! if you are going for a 1.8, i would obviouslt suggest a new fuel pump.

You might want to do some research on the Venom injectors and fuel pump. I've heard good and bad things about them. My GReddy injectors and Walbro fuel pump seem to do the job just fine though.

720cc, Rtek 1.8, stock turbo, stock IC, 3inch downpipes(not cat) can i use this setup, if so what kind of hp would I get from this set up.

you can get them in 720CC. you can get them on ebay, or from a registered dealer (speedshops, etc).
Not to sure if you can use the Rtek with the j-spec ECU, but if you find a doner USDM ECU they can modify that for you.
the Rtek comes with a built in FCD, so running the 3" pipe will not cause you to hit fuel cut now.
its hard to say what kind of HP you will make. the bigger injectors and ECU dont make any power at all, it just makes it safer incase you want to produce more power.
I would suggest porting the wastegate on your turbo if you are looking to gain anything more than 20HP haha..
would also suggest getting a stainless or aluminum turbo intake tube (to replace the stock crap plastic one) and a cold air filter to mount to the front of the MAF. might as well make the most of your mod!

RC eng sells a high-imp 750cc injector, high-imp will work better with the rtek, and eliminate the need for resistors.
the only problem is they dont fit perfectly into the primary positions, you have to grind a little away from teh housing. but no big deal, just take dremel to it
