PLViewer and wideband numbers

My dummy question of the day: I have the linear output of a Zeitronix going to the ATP wire on the ECU. I configured the Palm and I get a AFR reading on the palm and on the Palms graph also. AFR meaning figures like 13.8afr.

When I download the Log to the PLViewer, I get no [ ATP Analog ] but instead get [ ANALOG 1 ], AND the reading is 1-5vdc and not the AFR reading such as 14.7 afr.

So. How do I get the PLViewer to read ATP Analog and in the right numbers (afr readings, not 1-5 vdc readings)????

Also, in the dropdown menu on the PLViewer, under PREFERENCES, there is a submenu called CUSTOM SENSORS. Just what is that all about?????? I've downloaded the PLViewer guide and it does not mention CUSTOM SENSORS, but the guide mentions items in PREFERENCES that are not on my PLViewer on my desktop. An example of one of these items would be WIDEBAND. Ain't thar on my Viewer drop down.

Also if I have my linear output from the Zeitronix going to the VR wire on the ECU, then when I download to PLViewer and try to open the log, I get a ERROR message like ID 251 or such. Anybody seen that problem?

Come to think of it, this is starting to bug me. Not good.

Well, I did some reading and found out that BUILD 4 should fix some of this if not all. So I downloaded it to the Palm and I'll have a go at it in the morning. It'll probably straighten things out. I still had BUILD 1 on the Palm.

Make sure you are using the latest PLViewer (2.05F).

Change the numbers in Preferences->Custom Sensors->Analog 1 to match what they show in the PocketLOGGER Widband setup screen and the numbers in the graph will be AFRs.

If you change to the VR input, then you'll need to adjust Analog2 in the PLViewer so the numbers match the PocketLOGGER wideband setup numbers.

I have the latest 2.05f.

Is the jpg attached what you mean? Match the numbers off the Zeitronix site from the lowest number and then from the highest number? That works.....sorta. The idle afr using those numbers is in the 15.5 afr area and my car would shake, rattle and roll with those afr at idle.

But I can play around with those numbers til they match the Palm display and the Zeit *display*.

If I have a Palm connected to the Zeitronix and another Palm connected to the RTEX/ECU, the afr b/t the two match fine. It's on the log/graph the high and unlikely numbers show up.

I must have failed to find out how to do this when I read the how to in the Instruction book (ain't thar).

Opps. Should be using this graph I suppose instead of the figures for the white wire.

EDIT: actually using the graph for the figures works pretty good. Done with messing around with it.
