Plviewer
Does anybody on THIS site know how the PLVIEWER can be made to work with RTEK and ZT?????
Currently it only recognizes ZT logs and won't recognize the RTEK logs. It did recognize the RTEK logs prior to installing PL VIEWER for ZT.
I know that in the Download for those viewers it says as an example, that PL VIEWER for DSM won't recognize ZT logs etc, but there must be a way to own both products and have them on the same computer.
Two seperate PLVIEWER icons???? One for ZT and the other for RETK? Who knows. I don't.

It works OK for me. I have v2.04.
The .csv files are Zeitronix, I think and the .pdb files are Rtek.
You have to hunt for the Rtek files after you hot sink your PDA. They are stored in the "backup" folder in the PDA storage file.
I no longer use the Zietronix files. It's too convienient to just use the Rtek/PDA for initial viewing then get more detail using the viewer.
Hope that helps.

1. I had the PLViewer downloaded for months on the Desktop.
2. A couple of days ago I decided to start messing with my Zeitronix, so I downloaded the PLViewer ZT to.....................Desktop. Mistake evidently.
3. Once I had done step 2 above, I could Sync the files on the Palm to the computer, but only open Logs that were for ZT. If I selected a file for RTEK, I got a message that said the PL Viewer couldn't do that because it was NOT a ZT log.
4. Tried deleting the PLViewers and starting over again. Never worked. Whatever PLViewer I downloaded Last, was the only type logs I could look at
5. POCKETLOGGER site told me to put the two different PLViewers in different directories. So I put one on the desktop and the other in MY DOCUMENTS and made a Short Cut for it that I placed on the Desktop.
6. Seems to be working right now.
7. So I say , thank you POCKETLOGGER site , for straightening me out And thank you Ynkeetrtr for the response letting me know it could be done.
