Whatever you say! I asked him about it, apparently your mom was calling his cell phone 40+ times a day in regards to the shipping that had already been done and was in the hands the courier already. Maybe you should have asked her to chill a little bit? I would be pretty pissed if someone was blowing up my phone that much as well, especially because I have other customers trying to call in all day.

So if the guys mom was calling him that many times why didn't he just answer it in the beginning and give her the info if the shipping was done as you say? Sounds simple enough ,doesn't it?

That already happened, it was just taking a long time for the motor to get there which isn't in his control

no it was more like he never answered and the money was already taken out of the bank and the motor wasnt here yet, sounds a little shady for a first time customer, but regardless of that you still dont call her a bitch and crazy, its alot of money she was just worried.

Everyone has their own side to the story, but regardless what's done is done. Unless you have full proof, please don't bring accusations to the web. Thanks.

you called me to buy a turbo motor, you had tons of questions, i was glad to answer them. your dad called me, he had tons of questions, i answered them. he had problems using paypal, i assisted him, transaction went through. the motor went to the shipper where is gets prepped and shipped. this process can take up to a week depending on how busy the shipper is. now, this guys mom, him and his dad are blowing up my phone daily(for the next 4 days) asking where the motor is. they have the bol # that i provided to them from the shipper but that is not enough. then the moms multiple phone calls (that i answer when i can) turn threatening. she says"i work for a lawyer and ill sue you".. now im pissed, but respectful. i then ignore thier phone calls until the motor is delivered several days later(no more than 3 days) after the motor is delivered i call the mom to make sure she is ok, she said yes, and thanks for calling. now several months have passed and the kid calls me for tech advice with his car. i respond with not to call the rotaryshack ever again as i dont want people like them harassing me. i hang up the phone, he calls back 5 more times in a row, so i told him to go away and **** off.

Robert is great with tech advice, has great parts, and always does what he is asked and on time. i have spent over a couple thousand with him with great results every time. He has also answered hundreds of questions and never let me down.

I bought a Dcoe carb hat for my blowthru setup from Rob & the shack & was 110% satisfied with the great quality of the part (welds are flawless!) but you can't put a $ on the helpful information he gave me fo free.

What happened?
I'm looking for some advice. I wanted to work on my dad's RX7 and I have heard amazing things about Robert from Rotaryshack. I wanted him to build me a 12a turbo kit and initially he was super helpful and friendly. I paid the $3200 via paypal to him (in hindsight, I guess a really bad idea paying in full upfront) but I truly believe in paying for quality work... Well that was back in Feb. Since then Robert has become super sketchy about answering the phone... like, things have really gotten weird. A few months ago he was telling me that he was waiting on a turbo - but then he went with a different supplier and now it was the carb hat-either way that was over a month ago. I don't guess you can argue with success and it would seem that Robert can build the hell out of a motor... he just won't do it for me. The old man is in his 70's... it ain't like I got a lot of time to spare here. Is it normal to take 6 months on a turbo kit and I just didn't know? Am I fucked up here or what?

Robert has been really busy lately, i spoke to him the other day inquiring about some parts and it took a couple days for that he has lots going on but he has never let me down and i expect it will be the same for you guys. i wouldn't worry too much. i understand its frustrating but i also understand how busy he is. i expect he will be in touch shortly.

Trini, your carb was shipped out last week, still trying to get that confirmation number from Robert, he left it somewhere. You should be receiving the carb either tomorrow or Monday.
