NA means naturally aspirated with no artificial power adders... What does those cars use to make their power??? That's right...Nitrous!!! So that means they are nitrous aspirated and the last time I check that don't qualify as natural ambient air..
I guess we all get mixed up with the terminology of different things.. ie. Vicegrips

I am zeroing on that already with my Rx7 PP all motor.Next time out a 9.7 or faster or 140 mph trap speed will be my goal.My new engine will be way better than the last engine better parts.10 months ago i ran 135MPH on 1/4 mile back to back same engine low 10's and that was only 6.60 1/8 and 105 mph speeds. This is with 2100lbs car.
too bad i don't have a 1/4mile to do a full runs right now but running back to back 6.30 in the 1/8 is not bad with a tired motor and average 107-111mph eight trap speeds.
I will be testing very soon with new engine and better aerodynamics.Weight right now with added fiber hood is 2090 and new rear wing.

N/A stands for naturally aspirated, which basically means all motor. Any kind of power adder whether it be nitrous, turbo, supercharger, etc would not be considered N/A. C'mon guys...

Well done young lad.. I see Crispeed has taught you well
You will now be moving up to part 3 of this week's lesson titled "suck, squeeze, bang, blow"
You might be here for a while because this is one long, hard lesson...

Ok now you know the "time to beat", what would you be using to beat that time?? Engine, car, tranny, weight, tire size, power level, etc
Quickest 4 cylinder might be 9.30's IIRC and it's a honda.... Im not to sure what the air cooled VW's run

I'm not 100% sure on who has the A/M record in the honda camp but the DVS shoe sponsered civic did 9.33, so they might still be the guys to beat...

Ok so tell us what you planning on using to "beat" these records...... Now It's time for you to give us some info about your A/M vehicle

There is going to be some kind of N/A battle here between the Nordic countries next year. More and more racers are building strong N/A motors they "only" need a good lightweigt chassie to go fast! I know Andre' has plans for a 3l Pinto engine with billet head on alcohol, i,m sure he can give you some information here. So far Swedens fastest N/A car is a VW Beetle that has gone 10.26s in 2003 only weighed 1300 lbs!

fastest N/A rotary in the world is Joe Perez out of Philly PA, USA he ran 9.56 back in 1997 with his 1990 Rx7 full tube chassis car called "Party Time".. he was using an MFR peripheral port, with a haltech F-9 If Joe would have stayed N/A god knows where the N/A time would be at..
