turbo + Holley + e85(video inside)

I love the E85....and so does my rotary. It really woke up my Corolla . The car is nothing special: 66mm/t4(22psi) T2 motor(street port), with a Holley HP 950. Yep...I'm a carb guy. Car gets high13/low14 cruise afr on a gas meter. 2450lbs with driver.

I finally got a good rearend so I decided to go to my local 1/8th track for testing. Here's a breakdown of my best timeslip.
60ft: 1.36
330ft: 4.18
1/8th: 6.34
1/8thmph: 112

Here's the vid.

Awesome ride. That second pass was nice. What trans are you running? I like how the announcer said, "Wow", at the end of your run.

I'm using the T2 trans, but hope to get the Doug Nash 5spd installed soon. I'm trying to get in the 5's.. hopefully the trans will put me there. I'm installing a 6pt roll bar now. The car was starting to buckle the right rear quarter panel. the car is very unpredictable the fist 300ft....so I'm hoping the rollbar and frame connectors will make the car more consistent. It runs the same mph every pass; but it's hard to go quicker than 6.50.

Can some of the Gurus chime in with some go fast tips.

Yeah the carb works really well and it's cheap. The switch to E85 didn't cost me anything either.

Congrats bro, nice ride and awesome 60ft. What kind of suspension is in the front, I noticed it's very soft.

Front suspension is stock. I'm thinking about lowering the front for more travel. My 60ft is normally in the low 1.40's but the 1.36 is my best.

Anything else done to that Holley HP 950? Or is it basically right off the shelf. I love this setup seems very simple and the fact that you don't see too many Holley carb setups makes it very unique.

Idle circuits and main circuits reworked, dual power valves and bigger needle and seats.

I did the carb work. I'm heavily into blow-through carbs. Rotary and pistons. I also have a turbo Camaro(blow-through).
Here's a vid from 2 years ago.

do you still have the lift springs setup or do you change it to ladder bars?IF you do get a roll bar/cage that might help stiffing up the body a little.

I'm still stock suspension....just adding a 8pt bar with frame connectors.
