Car makes somewhere in the 600-650 area guessing of trap speed. Not cutting the car up except the tunnel if I put in a clutchless. Solid rear is not an option. Maybe 8.8 cobra.

I believe and using what you got. I see so many guys making a gabillion HP that run so so times. I was told once many years back by Gary White (driver for Titian Scion) not to chase big hp numbers but get the most out of what you got. He was running a 65mm turbo going 6.1's in 1/8th at 118mph! (in his daily driver supra)

Will a clutchless pick up .2-.4 in the 1/4 minium? I bet.

and guys I am not dead set on this. Just seeing what the interest would be on selling mine. I still think bang for the buck its the best thing you could get for your rx7!

OK... I am in FL on the beach and day 2 is over and so is a case of beer!

Here is a pick from my room.

People seem to be throwing around the term "back half" very loosely... Besides notching the floor for the new cross member, add 2 "tunnels" for the 4 link to travel upwards without hitting the stock floor & new upper coilover "bar" mounts, I can't see it being that difficult... No need for a true back half that requires new rear floor area and wheel tubs unless you plan to run a bigger tire.

Well, putting a clutchless transmission is hardly "getting the most out of what you got."

I think the real question is what times do you want to run? That will help us determine a cost effective and reliable setup. There is a reason why guys don't run IRS rearend setups in most 8-9 second cars, unless like I said they are going for an IRS record or are not allowed to run a solid rearend in their class. To me a clutchless transmission would be the very last part I would buy for my car when all other means have been exhausted in order to get a lower ET. Its by far one of the most expensive. Oh yeah, dont' forget you most likely will have to get a tow vehicle to tow your car too and from the starting line. You can drive the car back with a clutchless but it puts alot of wear and tear on the trans and it's a pain in the ***. Everytime you let off on the gas the trans will kick out of gear. Just something to think about.

First thing you need to do is make a 1/4mile pass!
