How much boost were you making on the two-step at the line?
and at what rpm where you leaving at? Thanks!

You're using the ACT extreme pressure plate and a 6 puck I assume? I'm really surprised that it's holding up this well. Although, this isn't the only thing that you two are surprising the rotary world with. What's you're tire pressure stage down to? Have you measured your tire temps or just go by burnout duration?

ALNY93R1 09-28-09 04:07 PM

Absolutely sick!!!!!! Congrats!

junito1 09-28-09 04:26 PM

YAY! I love stock block builds.

I've been reading some impressive shit lately.

KA24de Nissan engine stock block made 500+
RB20det 240sx Put together using 2 blown rb20's stock rebuild. (only mod is crank collar mod) And the guy is in the high 10's.

Stock evo blocks reaching 600
Stock block vg30et reaching nearly 500 n/a or turbo. even stock headgaskets. 13 head bolts per head in these vg30e's is no joke.

stock block h22 making 422 whp in my town.
Stock non vtec b18 made 320whp in town
How many more stock blocks can hold past 400? Probably all of them=P With the right tune.

rico007 09-28-09 08:19 PM

Thats pretty sick man nice work.:icon_tup:

Thats funny a little 1.3 liter engine makes more power than the above cars.
Anyways congrats on the time.:icon_tup:

Its full interior Ernie. The only things I removed was the spare tire and jack which already weigh nothing and the A/C is out. My car has 33k original miles and still smells new inside which is why I dont want to put a cage in it either. Its an R1 So I think im right around 2700. It used to weight 2620 but the 45lb turbo and manifold and the rest of the "junk" i added put on some weight.

RX794 10-01-09 12:38 AM

Congrats! Very impressive!

How do you get by tech without a cage and still make 4 passes?

enzo250 10-01-09 11:16 AM

ATCO Raceway Baby!!!

The sleeper look lol. They only wanted to make sure I had a helmet and that was it. I actually borrowed my friends fire proof jacket and had it in the passenger seat. The tech guy was like where did you get that jacket from ? I said one of my buddies why ? He then said that jacket is overkill you dont need that and started laughing, said have a nice day and walked away. lol.

Old Slow Coach 10-02-09 11:15 PM

Much respect to you turbor1 & enzo ;-)

blitzboy 10-06-09 10:34 AM

awesome!!!! technically this is done just with bolt ons as the engine is untouched

sk8world 10-06-09 01:14 PM

I want to see pics of under the hood. Curious how the mani fit.... Tire size? 10.5 or 11.5?

Non taken flaco. Pero loco. We are in hick ville here. JAcksonville sucks for a rotary owner.

I was just pointing out that stock block builds rock.
Plus that honda has many wins against cobras and nitrous camaros and Ws6's.
More than i could say about my TII.

YOu should come up here and show these rednecks what a rotary is about=)

11.5

Here's the thread, it's interesting seeing the build and comments when no one knew how much power it would make or what time it would run.

enzo250 10-06-09 05:03 PM

Maybe SpeedNYC could come out of retirement and post a new build thread of his own.. hehe..

Trots*88TII-AE* 10-06-09 09:51 PM

diabolical1 10-07-09 10:09 AM

congrats to all involved. this is very impressive stuff ... a 9-second stock block REW! even i know that that's not easy.

AnthonyNYC 10-07-09 03:09 PM

I just saw a white FD behind me in a trailer on the LIE heading to Enzo's shop, something is up!!!

enzo250 10-07-09 04:45 PM

Something tells me that he's going to order the same meal my brother ordered.... :)

turboR1 10-07-09 07:45 PM

I know Roan is a big guy and all but im just not too sure hes ready for the supersize fries, especially since hes been retired for so long. He might have to start with the kids meal first and work his way up

ErnieT 10-07-09 08:36 PM

Just don't forget those extra braided lines....;) Roan's big butt will need em...

enzo250 10-07-09 09:36 PM

Yeah I have plenty of those in stock... :)

SPEED_NYC 10-07-09 11:52 PM

turboR1 10-08-09 04:35 PM

Just to clear up some things up here.

This is a pm I recently received.
"I know it is a stock motor.

has the motr been opened?
Did you guys change the apex seals?
Upgrade oil press?
How "stock" is it.
Basically i just wantto tknow the info so when i pass the word of a "stock" 13brew making over 600whp
and runing 9.85's. "

I'll answer them in order

NO
NO
NO
as stock as it comes from the factory
its makes well over 700rwhp
and I went 9.8 with only about 610-620rwhp 28psi

and YES it is also a bone stock unopened transmission actually from the same engine and the car has stock suspension. full interior.

When this motor blows up I will video tape the disassembly so everyone can see for themselves what was inside. All the haters can actually come down and take it apart for me :) We'll make it a bbq party.

n0ferz 10-08-09 04:48 PM

impressive, there shouldnt be any rotary haters on this:scratch:

enzo250 10-08-09 05:12 PM

I heard your running NOS? And MoTeC Exhaust...

13BT_Starlet 10-08-09 05:13 PM

Let me know on the BBQ PARTY I'll come down to eat and watch the HATERS take it apart LOL
