hey Jim Jones, why did you post pics of that garbage in the pitwall??
Bro you should lift the back a little & leave the rear 57 inches wide.. Put on a big sombraro, you'll like those mexicans in Texas with their pickup trucks
Allen knows all about about the Mexican wide tire look

WTF are you smokin honkey? All I have to do is make a trans crossmember and I'm ready to race. Right now my car is running and driving and I have done 99% of everything myself including the tune jackbag so blow me. By the time you pay everyone to finish your car I'll will have had 3 seasons of racing under my belt, so if you call that not doing **** than so be it.

Just about stock? I dont think so. Well, I am going all motor 12a because that's what is in my budget right now and everyone has 13b's and I like to be a little different. I built the motor, did the bridgeport job, tuned the motor with a little help from my friend on what chokes and tubes to run, I rebuilt the suspension, did my own alignment, did my own wiring, modified my own transmission. The one and only thing I didn't make is the 9" because I dont have the tools to cut and weld, but if I did I would have done it too, but I installed it and am setting it up. I made one dyno pass just to see what it would make and on my first tune I laid down 198hp to the wheels on a standard bridgeport, not even a J-port. I still have some room to tune and make horsepower but I kept breaking axles, so I just installed the 9" and am still making some adjustments. My best time in the 1/8th mile is an 8.5 at 83mph with stock rearend and street tires and a pitiful 2.1 60ft. With the 9" I should go low 8's to high 7's in the 8th which would put me in the 12's or maybe even lower, well see. So call it a shitbox, I don't really care but one thing is for sure I really like it and am happy because I did all the work myself and it has not blown up. This coming year is paint/and body and I am going to try to do the body work myself and if money allows a pport. One thing I see alot in these forums is people starting projects they can't afford and end up selling or having a piece of scrap in their backyard. That is why I didnt go down the turbo road because I knew I couldnt' afford it. But I have an old school rotary and am lovin kicking v8's asses all over my city.
