same **** as vht trackbite. smells yummy when you do a burnout too. dr pepper also works too.. this is basic knowledge if you streetrace $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Actually, I think the first "street name" product of this type was called "Tiger Juice". It probably came out around '73 or so. Before that, the only commercial traction compound was the original VHT which makes the current stuff look like water.

After BYOTC ("Bring Your Own Traction Compound") was banned around '75 because all the goofy mixtures were eating through the old asphalt burnout boxes, (no water!), we actually had an official at SLIR whose job was to watch specifically for that trick. If a driver could hit the throttle and the squirter button simultanueously, it would leave no residue and was actually pretty tough to spot.

Prior to BYOTC, everybody had their own secret sauce and some of it was downright toxic if not just impossible to remove from your clothes, skin, hair, etc.

The only place which still allows those mixtures, (in the classic dishwashing liquid squeeze bottle with duct-tape-wrapped shop rags!), is George Ray's.
