well guys our boys put up a good fight but it just wasnt ment to be...good luck in 07 cuz i have a feeling the PR cars will put rotary back on the map...hey maybe if pica had a better RT, paul would of been history...

It's Efantis!! The 20 points for the round make it a 35 point winning margin, Lazcano was out the window the whole way! Wow.

I got info about Pica.
Team Pica in the semifinal pass had engine damege and in between rounds they change engines. But had a few problems with the sealings of the engine and did their best in the final running a 7:44@183 despite the problem.
But nonetheless congrats to the team for giving life to import drag racing .
Hope to see them home soon !!!

Awesome showing by the Pica Team. For a grassroots team with minor sponsoring they did an outstanding job. The crew chief for Pica Racing, Santiago was chosen as the event crew chief for his awesome effort in changing that bad engine in 44mins and then running a 7.4. Maybe next year, A BIG CONGRADULATIONS!

Thumbs up for Jorge Lazcano and Team Pica Racing
This is probably one of the most impressive Mazda Rotary Teams I have ever seen. The race against Ken Scheepers was killer. Two of the fastest Rotaries of the day slugging it out to face Team Efantis for the final Modified Championship. Even though Pica Racing beat Ken they also lost their first motor of the day as well. They pulled the motor out, and swapped in another bullet within an hour. Then went out for the big race against Efantis. This was a awesome drag race to watch these 2 competitors slug it out against each other all year, and come down to the last race of the year to determine the Championship.
I was impressed to see this Team go out there, and stay right next to Team Efantis. The car ran 7.3 and 7.4 consistently. Next year will be a very interesting year because there are suppose to be a couple of new cars joining this already exciting class.

i heard it was 23 minutes n and out from a good friend of theres that was talking to me. the motor was just sitting there and the guy i met and kick it with knows them very well and he was suppose to be running his 1st gen but they would let him run cuz they said he had no exhaust which in fact he did they just said it was too loud
