We dont open the motors every week. The datsun, we ran that motor for about a year. We only open the motor strictly for verification of the parts. On the 93 rx 7 we open the motor at 600 mile just to check on the rotors. Our goal is to run this like factory but offer the customer more power and longer life.

that was why i asked, i wanted to know how they last on a car that is used more for a daily/weekend warrior then more of an all out race car....i mean yea a race car goes through more stress in a shorter amount of time....BUT a DD goes through a different kind of stress and in a different way....you have a greater amount of cold and hot soaks at varying lengths as well as easy driving which is known to be harder on rotors then racing them

we always tell youngens to beat the **** out of there cars because taking it easy builds up to much carbon, so do you guys even know how these rotors wil react to people who dont commonly rip it to redline?

im not hating, im just giving more things to think about since you said you want it to run like factory...so you have tested they can take a beating...my question is are you doing any testing on a car that wont be going to the track much?

You guys wouldn't happen to be working on a 20B e-shaft would you. You already have me drooling over the Billet Rotors,. So I have to work that into the budget this year. But, a 20B is my ultimate project and you are alot closer than Kiwi-RE.

We are working on a E-shaft for the 13b. Once this is done a 20b will be next and then a 4 rotor.

Our new design will improve the life of the shaft and the assembly of the engine will be easier than the competition. We will provide more detail once we are on the testing stages.

Hi-

Do you have a round about timeframe for the release of your 13B e-shaft?

have you tested these rotors in an engine that is equipped with a Water/Methanol injection setup?

just wondering how corrosion resistant to the Methanol the aluminum is.

for years I've wished that "Mahle" would make billit rotors well... close
other jokes include. what if Donovan made plates and Callies made an eccentric shaft....
it would be cool to see if childs&albert would make seals...

Yay! At least by the time you get done with the 20B e-shaft I'll have the money for it. Oh also, have you thought about a billet kit for the 20B like Kiwi does? That would be pretty sweet to be able to purchase something like that in the US...somehow I'm a bit uneasy buying stuff like that internationally.

And I know a guy that builds great piston engines but....... this doesn't mean he can build a rotary engine properly.
