New Record Australia All Motor 13B BP 10.1 @130 MPH

From Matthew Rice, seals are 2mm 2pc

"Hi Sven

Just to let you know that on the second full pass in the R100 we have taken the record here in Australia ( quickest and fastest N/A 13B

Our aim is to be the first 9second 13b in Australia

10.1 @ 130mph

13B Bridge Port (of course with NRS seals)

I have attached a photo of the car and a link below to the video

Thanks again for the help with the seals (I trust you received the magazines I sent with your press release Fast Fours / Hot Fours)

If you sent a couple of small stickers I may even be tempted to put them on the car hahahah"

Congrats on the record. Two questions- why Bridgeport and how much does the car weigh?

Car has a liberty trans and a Ford 9". Not sure on the bridge, they did some funky stuff with the water jacket and all he had to say was it's not a PP.
Don't know what the weight is, you would have to ask Matt

Why are you asking Why BP Jay?? Why are you also asking how much it weighs? LOL Are we looking for a justification, in regards to your ride?

Whatever it weighs or why is it ported BP got nothing to do to why the car run, what it runs.

Why you running a PP Jay? Is it better cause padilla hit nine's with it? Just wondering? Not hating on you, in case some people will try to escalate BS with my post. You know how those fast talking internet racers people are lol. All BS in the net and not enough show in the track.

I guess engine porting is a preference. Not so much what who run what. Its about what works.

Big congrats to BP R100 Keep up the good work!

Wow! ok Jonell, the main reason why I ask is because I almost bought an R100 that I was going to build as a full drag N/A car before my RX2. I knew that I wanted the lightest car possible but I was a little nervous about the short wheel base. I kick my self in the *** for not buying it now. And your very very wrong- Porting and weight of the car has everything to do with the numbers it makes are you kidding me! There's no way in the world a bridgeport will ever make as much power as a full pport on a N/A motor. I'm surprised with your knowledge about rotaries that you dont' know this. Semi pport may be debatable but even then I don't think it can out flow a full large pport but the post says just Bridgeport, hence the question.

Don't worry the owner contacted me through facebook and told me how much the car weighs and I won't disclose it here. I'll wait for him if he wants but trust me it is way lighter than my car and my car is pretty light! So to say that the weight of the car has nothing to do with times is pretty ignorant. If this car had a Pport in it I guarantee you it would do mid 9's if the tune was on.

I already congradulated the guy on this and the Aus forums, so I don't know what your fishing for? Maybe you should concentrate on you car. Hope to see you soon, my car is almost done and it will run 9's before I die I promise you that!

Yes Jay. My knowledge of the port off pport is very little for I don't play with it. Hence to say my knowledge of rotaries is very little is an insult. Before your master rene ran what he is running I know more on the subject than you would ever read or get from people by talking or getting or picking their brains of what work and don't. Yes, pport is a lot larger volume than the bridge port that is used.

But Iam not here to argue about which is better. So, why are you not clocking 10.1 on your car?? You should read about volume vs speed they have a book about it. Big or bigger is not always better. The pport for all I know is good example of high rpm and good volume. Hence on the length of the runners to work good with flow of the volume of air that is flowing(speed).

But what do I know. You probably know more cause you talk to this guy and this guy. That ran this and that. So you are right you know more on rotaries than I do.

So my bad. To have questioned your knowledge. I forgot you have the Rene that you worship. LOL J/K

Oh and you don't have to worry about my car. Anytime you patsy has the ***** to run WIN or LOSE I will line up with you, Your master Rene, Santos and that 510 you guys tell me when and where.

I'm not worried of any of you guys knowledge on how rotary works. LIKE I said to each is his own!!!

Name the place and I'll race any of you anytime!! ANY OF YOU GUYS.

It's no ordinary BP. " With the bridge we used Series 5 turbo plates and we have put an insert in to move the water jacket back and the port extends into where the water jacket use to be but retains the water jacket Oring mod by Xtreme Rotaries"

Oh Jay worried about short wheel base? On an NA motor?? That shows how you know your stuff.

Ah.. Does abel ring a bell? Short base r100 running 7's and 100 some plus mph and your worried of a short wheel based NA r100?? HOW much is your PPORT making JOHN FORCE horse power?

Its about big ***** and be able to accept whether you win or lose. That is racing

Thats very cool. Thanks for the info. I know that a good, well built motor will make good power as long as it is well thought off and works in conjunction with all the rest of the components as intake runner lenght and all.

Big congrats to you guys.
