Next pass more power was add and another wheels up launch.
Broke the motor bad. Not sure why yet.
The time slip shows it slowed down a bit. Tried some new spark plug wires and had mis fire in 4th gear. Reason the mph was down 20.
27 psi no clutch wot, launch rpm was 8750 at 22psi. with a .017 jet in the clutch flow control valve. Still single disc so power should be around 350whp. lol

bad reaction time. Didn't know they had me on instant green. They thought I was testing for a no prep race.
I know its just a tenth faster time but its at a lower boost then normal. Still e85 but went back to strait water injection. Adjust the afr accordingly and the car took off. It did bog a bit off the line and thinking if it did hook and get a 1.28 60ft time the car could have gone high 8.6. Maybe, hoping!!!
Still on a street port, stock ignition and pump e85

Nope... guess I should go back to using it. Fuel pressure was strange. Pressure increased to over 100psi just before the drop in pressure. Not sure what caused the increase yet.

Running a really nice Nova from Houston. You can see the car near the end of the video. It launched hard. He had me by half car in 1st gear. Short shifted into second and you can hear the motor labor trying to power through the low rpms. Then spun the tires in 3rd gear.
Trying to run a index class is hard. Turning the power way down and the track is not prepped. It hard to compete.

Thinking about upgrading ecu.
Elite 2000 is priced right
Fueltech 600 is priced to much for me.
Any opinions or suggestions.
Really looking for traction control and more data logging.
The sprint 1000 has been working great for me. Had to put a external fan on it to keep it cool. Injector drivers where shutting off when hot.
thx

I haven't tuned a fueltech so I can't speak to it, but I've been happy with the functionality of my haltech elite 2500. I've yet to find something I can't do in the software, and everything the ECU does...it does well.

I think Seth and I are more impressed with what you've done with the Sprint 1000... Opening up to a modern ECU is going to be SO much easier for you to continue kicking *** and taking names.
Go Haltech Elite 2000 and be done with it.

Thanks guys! Really dread upgrading ecu since this one has done me good. BUT I think its time to move on.
New MT 28x11.5 slicks will be here for this weekends testing. See how things go after that. But the traction control is going to help with the no prep events.
Old tires are MH 27x10. They do have a bunch of passes but only 8 months old.

I've had a lot of great experience with MS3PRO. The MS3PRO Ultimate is priced very aggressively for the amount of features I/O it has. The software suite (Tuner Studio Ultra) is absolutely awesome as well.
Stuff like traction control, dome boost control, multiple launch control strategies, meth injection control, ect.
A lot of ECUs can do this, but you'll have a hard time finding one with as many features and as great of support at a similar price point.

The 2500 is going to be worth the price difference due to it's tuning depth and 4D maps (which for you I would say are beneficial).
Check it out. Ludwig just posted this comparison chart the other day.
