Thumbs up 12A in the 7's

Congratulations!!!!!!!!

Man that is impressive. I thought there was a yellow RX8 chassis car running in the 7's in PR, but might be mistaken. I am pretty sure this is a new record for a non chassis car with a 12A.

Got to take my hat off to the folks that had their hands in that bad boy.

well its been a long battle in the 28x9 class with Mr 12a, Damian's now 20b rx2, maxfix rx7, dyson and a few more. this is a world record for a untubb rotor and also a world record for a 12a in a stock chassis.

These guys figured out a way to utilize their power through the right chassis & clutch tuning. proper Chassis and clutch tuning is the key to running low ET on a small tire. I guess these guys were smart enough to realise that they probably dont need the huge power of a 13b or 20b to run fast, actually more power might have been a bad thing for the them because theres only so much power you can harness or use through that small tire.

Not Mr 12, but same event

Here's a Video from the same event showing the Ex Titan copper celica losing control and smashing the wall. Kinda sucks because the driver ( Joe- Rotormaster) was the one that was behind the controls of the Ex Flaco Racing FD when it crash a few years ago. Guys over at Oz rotary say that a called was already place to Titan in Florida to get the replacement parts

Its good to have proper funding & the right connections....

Quote from Po over at Ausrotary:

"Gas motorsport is back on track after the summernational crash wasting no time in repairing the world record holding Celica.
With the parts express shipped by our good mates at Titan motosports (good on you Nero) from RJ race cars Mr James Groovy Groove rider hooked in and should have the car finished by tomorrow and the Gas team have set a target to have the celica running at the TNT at WSID this saturday."

well the new owner wanted to repaint the car

car went to the center of the track, lost traction and just touched the wall. Very good save in the end.
