good news for me. IFO agreed there was a mistake in the 2nd round elimination and I was paired wrong so they are sending me a check for semi final payout. Better than nothing although I most likely would have ben runner up..

First prize was $1000 and runner up was $500, semi final $200. They run this event almost 2times a month so the guy that won travels to almost all the events. He has gone as quick as 9.4's so not many "street" cars can touch him. What it comes down to is he set his car up around there requirements and most cars that show up to race are full interior daily drivers like mine..

from earlier post....

[QUOTE=If he comes back to IFO in Nov. I will be sure to bring Gary White back down. Not sure if you know Gary by name but he drives the Titian Scion pro car. He was going to come but had to go to PR with the old Titian copper supra for it last race before they retire it. He has a daily driver supra that goes easy 9's and should dip in the 8's. He is a real racer and hardly ever makes a full pass but just enough to get the win[/QUOTE]

I also dont think I am too far away to make it a race with him. On tmy 10.6 pass I really didnt even get to run much of 4th gear. That and the fact that my 60 footer was off by .18 I think the car will go 10.3-.4 as it sits. I am also still running super stiff road race coilovers. Going to swap those and maybe add a 2 step. All but one run he went low to mid 10's. I just need to get more consistant, I hope the 2 step makes that happen..

He runs low 10's to high 9's w/o nitrous and mid to low 9's on nitrous.

If he does that in KC this fall I think I can beat him with my FB. Than I wouldn't win any money since I'm maybe the 3th fastest rotary around this area .
