Enzo,Tony and everyone. I WANT TO KEEP THIS CLEAR, I HAVE NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR ENZO, and Enzo has done great things with his tuning(perfect example his brothers car running 9's with a stock rotary engine block) IMPRESSIVE TO SAY THE LEAST. Enzo nothing personal I got nothing but love for you. You just gave up to Quick.

Judge please stop with the inaccurate assumptions.
You have never seen any of my failures so who are you to comment.
No one here is acting like a kid. My turbos are melting? Dude that's funny.
My egts are high? Do you even know where they are? Or where they should be?
Borg Warner turbos are known to fail from excessive shaft speeds and with 270 bearings.
I don't want to keep arguing as this is becoming very childish.
Maybe one day you'll get your car running and I'll put in a rotary engine back in my car temporarily and well see who is who.

I have had tons of failures all do to something I DID WRONG. So I'm no better, the only difference is I'm not in here crying on how the rotary engine failed ME.
Enzo I know you bust your *** to go out there and race. again, I applaud you for that. And if I offended you in anyway I apologize. Don't forget i have always been a hard critic on you. wish you the best in 2011

Ito I don't want this getting personal either.
First things first I have never cried on how the rotary let me down. I don't know where all that is coming from. My issues are simply I can't keep up with it. It's very hard. Even more so since my failures are so slight and never a major one but none the less the amount of time and work is always the same. Most people don't know what it's like to try and get out there race after race and keep my family happy and my car ready for the next race.
Honestly if I didn't have a buyer for my rear setup I wouldve raced another year with it.
I want to race this year and I figured it would be easier with a piston motor
Whether or not I'm right well just have to wait and see.

Good used jspec core for irons and rotater. $1500~$1800
Balancing of parts $500
Apex seals, sides, corners, close up kits, etc 1000~1500

machining for semi, dowel pins, etc.. 750~1000
So you replace all these part everytime you open your motor?

I Agree. 600-700hp 13b's are a comfortable level. You can get away with alot and the motors live. In a light car with good drivetrain and you will go fast.
This I would honestly say you can race all year with one engine.
The problem becomes when you start pushing power levels.

I am starting my 3Rd season on my junk build motor. So that goes to prove the above. What would this yield in a light weight clutch less, solid rear car? Mid 8's?
Sounds like we all just need to stay at that level and let the deep pocket guys go for 6's and 7's.
That's what I my plan for the rx3 is anyway. Junkyard build making mid 600's.

Beefy It's a plate that tie's engine/tranny to your chassie 3/4 cars have them .I just brought this up so guys with 1000 hp in a street car would think that's it's time to start thinking on chassie,s instead of wasting time on street class. BTW drivetrain shock is a bitch on a 1.3 liter.

Rotary passion is here to stay with me, but the one thing with me is that it doesn't cloud my judgement in others choices , you gotta do what you think is right for you and you only, i dont care if you think an electric combo will be better, as long as your racing
