Jerico into fc
hey guys i just brought a jerico 4 spd box for my fc
the box is out of a rx3 so all ready has the adaptor on it i just have to put my bellhousing on.
I want to know of or if anyone is running a jerico in a fc as i want to know if you
a) have to cut tunnel or selector hole out for shifter?
b)do u have to change tail shatft?
c) what gear box mount did you use for the box?
Cheers guys

Nice tranny so came from Rx3 what else does he have for Rx3 lol.. I usually go to shops around here or race track and ask if they know what will need to be done lots will help and lots will ignore is a 50/50 chance . But my experience a lot of them like to help. Good luck if you don't get and answer let me know ill ask my friends they always messing around trannys and rotaries .

a) have to cut tunnel or selector hole out for shifter? Yes
b)do u have to change tail shatft? No
c) what gear box mount did you use for the box? You can easily make a custom mount out of angle iron.
I would also switch the early bellhousing with a later T2 bellhousing so the shifter sits straight up and you will be able to run a better clutch.

just on b) - ours is a TH400 splined output shaft apparently, so I would check it. I would also measure the length of the box compared to the FC one. If shorter then yes, if longer than you will need to get it cut down.
