I think Krazzy rpm will be bringing his car the white 7.. I hope the Fontana gremlins won't be cursing him and get a full pass.. James, are you confirmed on running this Sept. 4?? Let me know...

Ok, I know who you are now. It's hard remembering multiple names and usernames and faces. Well, I hope you can make it. We need more old schools representing. Like I said at Irwindale, the track makes for a great dyno. Anyone hear from Steve with the green rx3 and Eric Darby? Eric, I know your watching out there. hehe I hope you can make it brother.

I hear you. Is it your tranny that needs fixing? I remember last time at Fontana you had 5th gear tranny problems. This sucks, that's two guys down.

Heck Rene, you may just win the turbo class with your drift car. Last event, the turbo cars were running pretty slow and inconsistant. Slap some slicks on and ease her out of the hole- yes, I'm talking about your car not your girlfriend.
See you guys tomorrow. Damn, weather is going to be hot! Mid 90's

It was hot as hell at the track.......jay did some good runs he did some low 12 sec pass but lost on the final runs,he got 2nd trying to beat a 9 sec DVS Honda.I didnt see Teddy run but i heard he broke an axle......hey teddy i didnt know you where there until jay said it was you leaving the track, the whole day i thought it was your brother.Jay said you lost 150lbs fuggg man incredible.
As for me i had a blast.....did some crazy high speed burnout runs ,couldnt get the car to hookup even with low tire pressure and spraying some home made VHT.I was trying to Feather the throttle but everythime the Semi-P ports kick in it was hell,I did run a 13.1 at 119mph going a bit sideways. The drift class was the highest payed in the whole event could of won 1k for first 500 second, but lost on the semi runs trying to catch the Mazdatrix Rx7 ended up 3rd place.I wish i would of put slicks on but since this class was new i didnt think they will let us run slicks but they did.

Yeah, like Rene said it was hotter than dog **** at the track. Ambient temps were 105+ and track temps were 135! It was another low attendance show for a finals but I think that was due to the hot *** weather and labor day weekend. I only had 3 cars in my class and one broke, so I got lucky and got second place. Got a little plaque and some cash. I didnt' have time to modify my carb. so I'm still running out of fuel after the 8th mile and nosed over really hard. My mph was only a 105mph. That and super hot weather it was lucky I didn't crack a fragile carbon apex seal. The Honda I raced had a full tube chassis with a carbon fiber floor pan. I don't think he was legal in my class but I didn't have my ducks in a row to protest and quite frankly I was just happy going home with some money. I was talking with the driver and his best et is 9.17 @ 150+mph! What the heck is going on? How the heck can we compete against Honda's that are running this fast and are allowed to weigh less and are making more power than the two rotors? Guess I have to start a bitching session with the event owner. Probably a loss cause, but we have to step up or there is going to be less and less rotary guys that want to race.
Teddy, poor guy, snapped an axle on his first run and was done for the rest of the day. He is now putting a 9" in. It was good seeing you Teddy and thanks for coming out. Next time when you have your 9", you'll be set bro. And yeah, congrats on the weight loss bro, I didn't recognize you either.
Rene had the drifting drag race in his hands but didn't know you could use slicks. He would have easily taken the 1k purse if he had known. He was litterally sideways the entire 1/4 mile track and had zero traction. Hopefully there's a next time as this was a special event. Oh, and Rene, unfortunately my dad's camera had a tape malfunction, so the video came out with stripes through it and is junk. Sorry.
Chris, nice seeing you again and sorry you couldn't get your car ready in time. I know you really wanted to race. You'll be ready for November. See you.

Sounds like the old days, Light pro fwd cars againts full bodied mazdas, Complaining will not help or change anything, I been there, done that at the peak of so-cal drag racing. Maybe try going to seven stock and talk to the hundreds of turbo, ported engines mazdas to show up and race next time.
