Last minute deal, I decided to tag along with Julian (NYCE1's.com) and head to the first NOPI event in Georgia.

I'll take some pics and get some updates tomorrow after qualifying. I hope NOPI is going to be good with updating their site with the results as NHRA did. If not you guys have me

Lucky bastard.... Was thinking about going to GA today because im off for a few days but tickets was $575 last night on expedia.. we got a house in Lawrenceville GA , about 25 mins away from Alanta... Have fun, looking forward to the pics...

Us NYC guys need to communicate more when drags is concern, man I'll drive/fly anywhere to see a few rotarys run down the 1320.... Right now im 60% set on going to Jamboree in Australia this year, just got a little more convincing to do... I love rotarys so much that when i go home on vacation, I don't even go by the beach or go take ah lil bull on dem long time gyal all i do is go play with Rx's as soon as i land

BTW, you and Crispeed need to put a little red,white & black on you Sig man.... Cris got people thinking he's a Rican when them sick projects he pumping out that shop, let them know that PR ain't the only Island in the caribbean with skills

THIS **** SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been in a traffic jam for an hour allready on I-75. We have only gone about 1 mile in that hour!
Still got 252 miles to the hotel.
At this rate we might as well go straight to the track.

First race of the season with the "new" NOPI, I wonder if Ken,Titan and all the other big guns coming out to play... I know Moroso will be an insane event as always, and i know i'll be kicking myself in the *** watching the updates on sunday

 

dee went 7.37 @180 my sources tell me. i think thats a personal best for him. anthony tell him i said congrats!

 

We are here 6:30 am , we are going to the track it opens at 8:00 am .

Ok, the event was rained out. I met up with Dee and Crispeed and we hung out for a while. Ken Scheeper was not there, Dan was not there either. I saw a few cars from Mech Tech but they were in the trailers so I could not get pics.

I was just thinking something... Cris is like "Mr Wilson" from home improvement, he's always giving helpful advice but you can never get a clear image of him not even video

Tomorrow looks like there should be SOME racing. Mech tech does have a really nice rig. There were a lot of nice rigs there and a lot of nice enclosed trailers. I took some pics of those too.

It's not raining in GA right now but it is cloudy and WET. I'll update later on if anyone makes any passes. Forecast calls for drizzles off and on throughout the day.

Who told these guys to hold the 1st event in GA, it's ALWAYS in Florida!!!
