and if am that confident? about what racing you on motor? I think you know better or you would have raced me on motor that night. If YOUR that confident we can do that for money anytime. U say u want to keep it friendly but your the one bringing up money not me.
all i wanted do is run close to home. on that road where we raced that spot has those most rubber...its a free friendly run, i had no plans of making this a big event..I showed up BY MYSELF, i called NO ONE I thought it was gonna be a small thing with me,you, enzo and roan. ur aware that i dont have a license so pardon me if i dont feel like risking my car/freedom on edison...for a supposed free friendly run. I did'nt really care that i wasn't gonna hook i figured u wouldnt either and its for fun so who cares.

- & i didnt wanna make excuses ant but if u really wanna know that race was ON MOTOR! n20 sprayed in first and was locked out every other gear which was my fault, cuz i messed with the settings on my n20 controller and instead of locking out 1st and spraying every other gear i did the opposite... on top of that there was driver error i missed 4th and coasted thru the finish line in 5th lol...
like u said it was a friendly run...after u threw 2nd while i was still spinnin 1st i knew the race was over...after i missed 4th i knew it was really over.. you didnt hear excuses that night nor did you anywhere in this post up until now..i think i've been a rather good sport and took nothing away from ur victory.

-All i said was good race... good W, etc but i guess roan's comment bothered you a little.. since ur the 1 that mentioned $$$ in response to roans comment, which is why i felt it was ok to mention it now.

- if a $$$ run is what ur after thats perfectly fine i race my friends for $$$ all the time, but i won't be on motor and theres no reason i should be ur car is obviously faster then my car is on motor when both cars hook..i ran 10.7@126 All Motor, you ran 10.6@130 on boost on a easy pass, ur cars easily a 10.30s-10.40s car in my eyes..so if it was for money then yes i would be on the bottle, but i have no intentions to run you, roan, or any1 else that iam cool with and share info about my car with for money, But ive never turned down a $$$ run and i definitly won't be starting now if thats what ur after.

my car is a 6xxwhp car on both stages...i ran as is 2 keep our hp close so we can see a good race and compare 500whp rotary pwr and curve...compared to a v8s 500whp power curve

What kind of gearing do you run?
to keep it a good race...iam an avid grudge racer always for money but this was just a fun run...i have a stock block so not point in pushing the car 2 the limit for a fun run...i have 4.10 gears

Can I ask why you don't have a license?

If you get stopped for street racing I don't think it's gonna matter one bit whether you have a license or not. You're risking your car/freedom anyway.

long story...but i have a fl license, liv in nyc..forgot 2 pay a stop sign ticket along with a brake light ticket(got 2 in the same day), managed to be pulled over in nyc for switching lanes without a signal..florida found out, and license was suspended until i appear in court in florida, iam currently a full time student in nyc so i wont be able to get down to florida until xmas break...and its not about being stopped while in the act of street racing..its about being stopped before or after the race, the area that turbor1 wanted to race at is well knows for street racing, they've been running out there since i was 9-10 so theres ALWAYS cops in the area, & being that i drive around on slicks/skinnies in a loud sports car is just asking to be pulled over, and the nitrous in the car is grounds enough for my car to be towed even if iam not caught in the act of racing.

I like both rotary's and v8's. Any rotary that can hang with the big boys deserves alot of respect... LOL JK! Seriously though. I don't care what kind of engine it has if it runs as well as those two do.. It is entirely up to the owner of the car what he runs and I respect that.

Brings up an interesting point. The other day my son and I were riding in the FB. He asks me if it is a quick car. I said no, not really. He asked if it was a fast car. I said, no, not really. But it is a fun car, and even with a solid rear end, and old school suspension, it can out handle a lot of more modern cars, even on skinny stock tires. The 2nd gens handle even better, and the 3rd gens are, argueably one of the best handling cars produced. And they are fast. But when you take one of the best American v8's produced and drop it into one of the best handling cars that have been produced, and you have the proverbial pot of gold. JMO.

Not trying to bash on rotaries. There are some really really nice powerful rotaries out there. I happen to like both.

Kudo's to both racers for building very quick cars. Peace!!

now i regret making the comment i did. ant, seriously, my comment wasn't a stab at you or your car, your car is faster then mine and i know that. this was a friendly run, lets keep it that way. you guys have been friends probably longer than i've known both of you, trust me $$ runs can ruin friendships and it aint worth it.

it was a good race and the faster car/driver combo won. lets leave it at thet. in the future if youy guys wanna run again for fun, i'd love to see it, but just remember to keep it fun.

Some people need an education before they can have opinions.

Cool race.

Still would take the LSx over the rotary Probably get a few more track passes out of it before rebuild time.

Can't wait for the next vid

What mulletmobile? The white FC? That was destroyed by a drunk driver in a mulletmobile (F-250). But thanks for your input.

If it makes you feel better I'm now moving on to raping a FD with a V8.

After so many burnouts and 3 attempts to catch this light I must have really heated the clutch because it was slipping real bad in 3rd and 4th you can hear it in the second video. Anyway it was a good run so I had to hold it down for the rotories.

I have always hated american v8's since i was born... For the same reason i hate 460cc 4 stroke dirt bikes compared to 250cc 2 strokes... THEY ARE INFIRIOR>> thats why they need 2 times the size of everyone s engines to keep up=)

THese videos makes me smile=D

I agree.. Ive been racing dirtbikes for 10 years.. I hate 4 strokes.. I have 3 dirtbikes right now and they are all 2 stroke.. I have a shifter kart. 2 stroke.. I had tons of jap bikes..600's, 929's. sold them all and cant wait to get a 250cc instead.. why i love rotories its just like a 2 stroke. I do believe 4 strokes are superior for trails and woods, cause of the torque but for racing nothing beats 2 strokes.. even MotoGP they switched to 4 strokes cause the 2 strokes made so much power it was to hard to control. i love the powerband of a 2stroke.. love top end unlike 4 strokes where they fall on their faces.. blah.... not for me.. or any "real racer"..

yea i love 2strokes as well lol* but i owned a decently powerful rotary rx7(460whp) and i've owned a n2o ls1 rx7 and in all honesty i enjoy'd the v8 more, just my opinion.... i ran 10s on pump gas and racked up a Nice amount of wins on the street..this car has NEVER let me down, any L i took was strictly driver error in 1way or another.

But anthoy is right iam preparing to my sell this rx7 2 move on to faster things iam sure we'll line up again in the spring sometime as long as every1s game

You´ve read my mind!
I share a garage with all V8´s, Twin turbo -02 Mustang GT, Corvette c5 Z06 with Lingenfelter supercharger kit, Ford racing supercharged -88 Mustang GT and an Audi RS4 -06. They´re all nice cars but nothing beats that kick in the nuts with an highly modified rotary!

Can´t wait to get my build finished and leave them all in that lovely smell of 2 stroke oil!

lol.. must be a European thing. Castor oil is my favorite type of 2 stroke oil.. the smell is incredible.

and just to add fuel to the fire.. if your v8 isnt making over 1000hp your nothing to brag about.. and i still wouldnt brag its nothing impressive at all. 4 cylinder engines make 100hp per cylinder easily, reliable all day long and on pump gas. funny how twice the motor has a hard time making more power.
