FD Guys - Best 60ft WITHOUT Launcing in Boost.

This is just for the FD guys, what is your best 60ft launcing WITHOUT boost? I've been launcing at 8k (no boost) with 10psi hot in 11.5x26 ET Streets. Stock suspension, no skinnies. My best has been 1.59. Im wondering if I can get 1.45s out of this setup? Thanks.

without boost? Do you mean no 2-step? If I free rev to 8k I am leaving with 7-10psi of boost.

My best has been a 1.54 but my last few passes last season were getting very consistant in the 1.5's. Going to add a 2 step and softer springs in the rear and see how it goes in a few weeks.

Solid or IRS?

I think he is wondering if there is any left in a stock suspension free revving FD. I would say you are doing pretty damn good already! Without being able to dial in the suspension and a 2-step you are kicking ***!

Free reving yeah. I am also wondering how you were able to generate 10psi free reving.

Also, what psi are you guys running HOT?

So if you go back and look at your logs you see vac at the first mph recorded or even slightly before? I will look back at my logs tonight as 7-10psi was more of a guess but my logs ALWAYS show positive presure at launch.

I start around 12-13psi and work down but I am far from a guru on that. My best seems to have been around 11.5psi.

I have around dozen passes on same tires like u with consistant 1.5s
I keep them @ 14 psi and do a rolling burnout

I launch at limiter wich is set 8250 but no 2 step and not pedal
all the way, I floor it same time I drop the clutch

still on torsen so scared to heat am up more and drop the pressure

I do have the illuminas on 3rd setting on back and 1st softest on front
with eibach springs

I have a cross member and viper diff hopping to copmlete before summer
with t56 box and try launching harder,

I would like to have a similar drive train like this under ground Viper
I dont plan any IRS record lol

1.518 best 60' so far free reving at around 7-8k and dumping the clutch ET was 10.79(not my best ET coupler blew off at 1000' mark). Was on 10.5 ET street bias plys, s4 t2 lsd, and stock shocks with eibachs. Most of my 60's are from the low to high 1.5s. Got skinnys this year so i can lower the pressure and when i get the AEM use two step and launch harder.

Eric, thats the rx7 store diff brace. Guys seem to like the PFS brace as it wraps the case and helps it from splitting in 2.

Ok, I looked at my logs and I will post a section below.
rpm kph boost
8591 0 69
7869 8 107
8561 16 135
8680 25 147

so my first mph read shows 1.07 bars. (15.7psi) and 10psi sitting at the line.
