Gforce bc anyone you talk to there for the most part knows there **** and they are cool to deal with bc they arent like salesman..great to deal with and can make anything as far as i am concerned better than any other company out there. But not compared to strength of the planetary trannies.

Go with a automatic
I know you have not listed any automatic transmissions to choose from, but they do work well. Not many cars running automatic trannies here in the US, but there are several Australian cars that have done well with the basic C4 Ford or Chevy Powerglide Transmissions. Not sure the exact project you are building, but if you are building a 20B P-Port you will have plenty of Torque to move a automatic transmission with no problems. I am just going based off of your sign-on name.
Good Luck.

Learn me gentleman, as I have 2 questions.
To the OP, why are you limiting this thread just to these transmissions? Is it because they fit in the stock caseing? Why not use a T-56 or A getrag v160(MKIV supra transmission)?
Question 2, To each their own on their build, but if you are primarily using the car for drag racing, why are you going with a N/A 20B? I understand if you were road-racing the car, just not for drag racing.
Thanks.
Best of luck with your build.

Question 1: limiting to these transmission because of the clutchless nation of transmissions and also to the vertical gate shifting mechanism. So yes Dra Racing Boxes
Question 2: Going NA 20b because it is a record that is accessible here in Australia i just dont have the budget to fight it out in the other categories.
Car already has a supra box after something to shift quick quick.

Just look at the pro stock teams out there, 99% of them run Liberty trannies, most top import teams run g-force because they are giving to them, I did some research and decided on liberty on my current project.....I know they are a little pricey at $8,000US but drag racing aint cheap....

Pro stock guys run liberties bc they are a faster trans. maybe only a few hundreths of a second but in those cars three hundreths is a ton. Gforce can build a faster trans but the pro stock market is full of whiners.

I hear and see alot of blokes in Australia running supra gear boxes. How well do the hold up and work vs a Turbo II trans.? Also what bellhousing adaptor is needed? Any thread or links to this would be great too.

hey guys just curious and i guess this is a question for the people that already own a Gforce, what are the overhaul/service intervals for a 5 speed clutchless transmission ie how many passes before they require inspection??? and what is the after sale service like easy to get parts and stuff ???
cheers dave
im steering toward G force i think seems to be the general consensis.
