NHRA is a well known and established sanctioning body, and for me, is geared more towards racing with a show, instead of NOPI which is a show with racing. Basically, preference, at least for me. Also, the rules are different between NHRA and NOPI classes, so much so, that gearing up your car for one event could potentially hurt you at the other. Like lexan windows for example. You get the idea.

Dan,
Your car would be in the thick of things in the Nopi Turbo 4 class. (easily) Thats what Im gearing my car to run in. Yes, they combined the turbo 4 with the turbo 6 class, but the payout is still nice, plus with the contingency money it really helps. Hope to meet you soon.

Yeah, its hard running the full schedule in one sanctioning body, much less hitting two different events, if there was a NOPI event somewhere nearby, I'd probably go, they're just so far from where I am.
