Congrats to Jesus Padilla...ran a 9.03

Ok, thanks. So that puts him around 1900lbs with driver. Must be nice to be able to lose and add weight like that. We are stuck with our "stock" chassis cars. It's very hard to get below 1950 or even 2000lbs!

Yeah, must be nice to be able to weigh 1650 and 1700lbs with about the same horsepower if not more than the rotaries, especially the 2 rotors. This is the case down here where I race and it's total bull. I had to race Jeremy with my full stock chassis car vs his 1650lb full tube chassis car making over 350hp to the wheels. What's wrong with this picture? Oh yeah, it's not who you know it's who you blow! Crybaby Honda racers.

I knew that was bull. I just wanted to put him on the spot. Regarding lowering the weight for us- that will not work. I can't get my car any lighter, unless I make a custom carbon fiber body panels and an all alluminum engine and that ain't going to happen with my pocketbook. Most of us in this class can barely afford a stock chassis car. This was supposed to be a "stock chassis" class! All of a sudden they let a couple of rich kids come in with their full tube chassis cars and lighter weight to clean the competition. What they need to do is put weight in the Hondas and I mean alot of it too and that is what we are debating with right now down here. Your classes on the east coast(NSCRA) are basically no holds barred and the weights between Honda's and rotaries are closer and that's cool and your allowed to use a 20b. But if they allowed those rules down here, I would say most of us, if not all of us, don't have the means to change our cars or to build another car to compete with a 9.0 second class. I don't know what the answers to all these problems are, so that is why I just go out and race for my own personal goals and ignore all the politics and *** kissers. Take it easy and I look forward to seeing you make that 8 second pass.
