We've used one in an FD with dual Bosch 044 pumps. Very nice parts from CJ. Apparently we were the first to actually do the install with the Bosch pumps and ran into a few issues getting everything to fit. CJ was real good about working with us to make it happen though and, from what I know, have now made alterations that have made the install easier. Getting two Bosch pumps in there is a tight squeeze non-the-less. Two Walbros would be much easier.

Do not get this POS product. I have spent 50 hours trying to get this thing to work and even went as far as taking it to a machine shop to make this thing work. It is more of a head ache than it is worth.

This has been the worst part I have ever purchased for this car.

I was considering getting the cj kit, is it really that bad, can anyone else support this negative claim. Maybe yours was any early model or something. Fit and finish looks great, where are u having your problems ?

CJM are nice people to deal with and they are willing to help you with your application. I have been using their dual pump assembly for over a year now. Its an extremely tight fit but surely nicely done. When you complain about the wires not being long enough though, i guess this unit isnt for you

I can say I've had mine for atleast a 1.5yrs and its a great piece. From fit and finish to fitment, very nice quality. No complaints here at all.

my only issue with the item which was my fault is that i bought the 023 pumps instead of 044 in the beginning. the fitting on the top is a lot longer than the 044s and i couldnt use those. after buying the 044s they fitted nicely. Other than that, the shield that goes in the car to cover the assembly couldnt fit due to the height of the plug that is on the assembly. a 5mm aluminum piece on that shape solved that.

back then i sent CJM my supra pump so they can build a kit for the twin supra pump. Not sure what the progress is atm.

R-R-Rx7;

We actually built a prototype Denso pump hanger. We have one out there and one more waiting to ship this week when we get restocked on our connectors. Let me know if you want to convert your unit to Densos, I can hook you up.

Everyone else; Thanks for the kind words... Obviously not everyone is capable of working on their own car. We had offered to assist this customer but he ignores us. We have also explained to him where he went wrong with his installation issues, but he still ignores us... but thanks to all of our happy customers spreading the word, we are doing very well this year

Diggin this one of from the archives to ask:

Since the Supra pump is a direct replacement for the OEM fuel pump, would it be safe to assume, that I could run twin Supra pumps without problems?

Has anybody tried this?

I prefer the Supra pump to the Bosch unit, due to it being quieter, but still able to flow enough fuel for my application.

Is it possible to use the CJ kit for only 1 Bosch 044? Are there any concerns with having an empty hanger like excessive vibration? I imagine the install would be easier because the tight space issue would be mitigated.
