Lets face it bro, there aren't alot if any top pro racers coming onto forums to help a bunch of kids out and show them how to check their timing, etc. I sure as hell don't see any top PR pro's coming to this forum and helping out. I don't see Ken or any other of the guys that you mentioned that you had respect for coming on here giving help. So what do you want from the guy?..... Really.

Just come clean and tell us that your pissed off that a Mexican west coaster has the record for the worlds quickest and fastest rotary because I can guarantee if a PR had the record and was the cockiest guy on the planet you would have every excuse to back your bro up now wouldn't you?

Hey hotshot, be a team player and voice you opinion to educate & help others because I'm sure you didn't learn all by yourself.. You're a record holder and I give you credit for that, but don't let your talent go to waste. The forum is for more than selling parts & services

What I thought. I think you pretty much agreed to what I said there.

Manny, I totally agree with what you said. It's all about helping the fellow rotary community at the track and I'm sure Abel has done that many times throughout his career.

In fact Aaron, if you want stats. Just check out all of Abels replies in this forum. He has helped a few people here afterall. Hey and tell your boy Siguel to sign up on this forums, I got a couple questions I want to ask him about tunning my carb.

So you need a pro racer to explain how to set timing?

Just what's said above by the 'record holder' is proof of what many others have experienced before.
There's another world out there far from what you believe is written on this forum. If you were a true racer and travelled around the country you would know who actually helps who on a regular basis and who sits at home beating on their chest like a gorilla who just had a bannana!
It's not about who got the record. It's about the way it was done and the manner in which the torch is carried from then on.

No, you and your boy Aaron keep on saying that Abel doesn't help anyone out, yada yada, when in fact he does help people. So he doesn't come onto this forum and help out a bunch, big deal. All you guys that give him ****- have you ever met the guy or spent any real time with the guy or is everything you have against him hearsay?I learned a long time ago to never judge someone by hear say by others but by personal experience.

I think that Abel is too busy working on making a fast car to hand hold people on the internet and ethug. Instead he's constantly helping everyone else out 1 level higher in the food chain. He's working with guys at Mazda, Garrett, and a ton of V8 guys that are just now going turbo and going to Abel for advice. In the end, all of this "free" consulting is making better products for everyone and elevating the industry. Ask yourself: What have you don't for the industry lately? Because Abel has done alot. Brilliance is often perceived as cockiness when you're insecure about your own capabilities.

If it wasn't for Abel's help, Maztech wouldn't be running 2 Synchronic 50mm wastegates and our BOV, and running consistent.

Wow ! No matter how you put it Abel is our record holder ,i speak as a Team USA racer! One thing i see is that P.R. racers are more involved with one another in their Rotary Community, wich is y the majority of them are running so hard!and similar #s here everything is AREA 51 ,go *** urself, you figure it out etc....... Also no1 has done the R&D that P.R. racers have put 2 be #1 in Sportcompact-(Flaco has aswell )but lots more Overseas!!!
Much respect to Flaco you are our American
(Mexican descent) Rotor Guru. Now all records are ment to be broken i was in PR recently and will say this 4 cars are in the works to chase down Flacos record for 2009 ! Out of respect , it would nice to see Flacos record go down, maybe that will give him an itch again and make the 2009 season a hair puller! Last Street Ports make good power but The Bridge Port is a Monster!!!!

Let me explain something to you.
I have a lot of respect for Abel and what he have accomplished. He has done what everyone else dream of doing one day.
His antics towards the other racers in the buisness is another story. It goes both ways. We only get to hear his side but I've heard the other very often.

That's a typical statement of yours and it's the main reason why the ones with the knowledge to get in done time and time again don't post on this forum. Some are impressed with 'one hit wonders' where many others like to see a certain level of performance time and time again. It's good for buisness and devolopment. The ones that do don't get the credit for doing so and are often rediculed by the one hit wonders. It's easy to say if I 'coulda', 'woulda' but in the end they did not and many others have done time and time again and the deserve credit for doing so.

Typical statement? Many people were wondering what happened as they said they were racing that night. Two days later and no response? I guarantee if they ran and everything went great they would have posted right away. They didn't so I gave that statement. You are reading way past the statement. I didn't say or wish anything to go wrong as I am hoping for the best outcome for them. In fact after my statement that you forgot to post up I wrote that I hope that nothing bad happened. As it turned out, something did go wrong, they didnt' race the car.
Your one to talk about typical statements, most of your replies are in riddles that only you can understand.

Well said,A record is a record and its still standing.PR have some fast cars but they are using more expensive technology than what you peopel think. Some of those fast PR are using some space age stuff like ceramic wheel bearings on all corners of the wheels and lots of carbon fiber, they are not cheap stuff and i have seen these on pro stock cars, one push and the race car fully loaded rolls like its on air, stuff like this is very common to go faster nowdays on pro cars were every hundred of second counts but only for the people who can afford this stuff.

I have known abel for many years and his Rx8 still uses the older technology NO (ceramic wheel bearings)and heavier race car, this is done a while back remember people. He may have not been racing for a while because to run a race car a weekend cost money and PR run their cars every week with no worries, good for them they can afford to run.

I give props for who ever will break his record soon, but it still stands here in the Westcoast .IT was done by a Mexican not PR everyone knows that.

For the Record Mannyvidal,Padilla is a great person,I know you are talking about me because i am the one with the ALL MOTOR FB i will admit that. But Padilla did not had to do with
my Rx7 going alot faster,I let him checked my programs because i had a misfire in my ignition and was only running with 3 plugs that one day ONLY!I was pulling up to the line and he just
came to me last minute just minutes before my run and tried to fix my problem on the spot, the run was not good anyways because the ignition problem was still there.I went quicker with
the ignition fixed on another Race date but not the same tune as of POMONA.I did another tune just before the Fastes run i did and it worked out.I don't know whats floating around out there but Padilla is my good freind and i will give him props for his car and help that one weekend.
