Exclamation bad 1/4 mile time for my gen 3 analyze my slip please!!

*1st run - 13.7 @ 108mph (3K dump for the launch)
*2nd run - 14.1 @ 102mph (4.5K dump)

Both runs my 0-60 foot time was 2.5 sec.......terrible. Freaking cavalier had a better 0-60ft time. One thing I didnt do is deflate my tires. Someone told me i should have deflated my tires to 20lbs each. I'm am idiot. Here's my slip info

rt=.366
60'=2.547
330=6.911
1/8=9.154
mph=85.50
1000=11.618
1/4=13.716
mph=108.1

im thinking i can run damn close to a 13flat.........my car has 310 wheel hp and 270 ft/lbs torque. I just need to learn how 2 drive............any thoughts or suggestions?????

launch at a lower rpm. i usually do like 3.5k-4k and cut 2.2-2.1 60' on street tires at 40 lbs in the tires. if you launch too high you will just spin and hop.

That generally only works for ET Streets/Slicks. Deflating radials has a negative effect on traction.

I second that... if you lower your tire pressure you will actually get less traction, because it will cause the center of the tread to bow up and you will only be running on the edges of the tire. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tire5.htm
You just need to get used to driving the car more....don't get too down about it...we all have been there.

Also...your car NEVER does as good as you think it should by calculating. Trust me...I know!
