Anyone ever run the Texas Mile?
I've been reading about the Supra that just went 241 MPH in the Texas Mile. Very impressive. I don't think they have a vid up yet, but here is a pic of the car:
Have any of you rotary guys ran a mile drag? I'm curious where a 500, 600, 700 whp RX-7 would come in? I think it would be quite a rush to run it.

We plan on running at the texas mile, but there's a lot of work to be done before then. Does anyone know if any 7's have done it??

I've been to the event a few times as a spectator, it's pretty awesome.
there are usually a couple of 7s there, but they are never running. Most of the guys I know down here are track junkies, top speed is meh.
