When I was in NJ last month for the Nopi/NHRA race me and Tito/Eddie Bello were remenissing about those days when we often raced each other in the finals here in Florida at Moroso. The good old days of racing when it was run what you brung!

I got $500 check and I think they send you the contingency money in the mail, I have to register to some websites for the rest. I gotta thank Ernie! I talked to him Sat night at like 12 midnight and he says "dude, the fastest cars in that class last year were high 10's! you better go!"
To put things in perspective when I say I got lucky, I had to race Eddie Bello for round 1 eliminations, he had street tires and told me before the round that he was not going up nd the final round was with a 10sec eclipse that is number 2 in points in NOPI and he for some reason was not running right and ran a 11.1.
Just got off the phone with Crispeed and it looks like I need to change my old greddy wastegate. It's leaking a lot at the shaft so I think as I go up in boost it's leaking more and more.

Make sure you filled out your contingency right there and then.Frank choi(BOTI)
is very sneaky when it comes to paying. He owes me lots of money from wins he never paid me and contingency also.
He's always saying" it depends on how many cars where racing in the category".
I got to see eddie's porshe run in Pomona CA back in the day doing some half track wheelies.
Congrats on your win.

damnit, they were blue. that's good enough for me. Well, I did see some progress pictures last week of it being fixed but I didn't know if it was done already.
Some of us are stuck in the Midwest, you're lucky to be right in the middle of that stuff

I heard it was a bad fire but did not see it myself. I've known and admired that car since 2000! Here's a pic that I took myself back in 2000 of LA PULGA! That guy is a one man army.

damn Ant, I'm all late but CONGRATS!
the machine is working..
you might start a new trend of ppl buiulding 10 sec street cars with bone stock 60,000 mile motors.
i cant wait to see the times when you get your ported motor back in there.
lastly the car looks freking GOOD in the pics, clean and fast, the perfect combination.

That man is a legend in NY

That car ended up running low 9's before Tito had the accident.
Before the Nissan motor it had a 3.8 Buick Grand National turbo motor.

that first gen was the ****. but was it 187 or 184mph?
either way it was faster than the racing beat bonniville salt flats first gen, and he was doing it on the STREET!
tito needs to get back in the rotary game...

I guess you can make quite a bit of horsepower with the stock motor. There is another guy in the second gen forum putting out over 700hp with stock motor and stock porting. Here's the link. https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/my-goal-met-769rwhp-747542/
